  1. Bono One Direction Emili Sande (of course) Ed Sheeran Bastille Adele (ITN says she's in, Lizo is vague and it might have just been an intro to Paul Epworth's involvement) Ellie Goulding Sam Smith Ollie Murs Chris Martin Sinead O'Conner (ew...) Foals (say The Independant) Elbow (say The Independant) David Bowie asked to record an introduction Rita Ora's participation dependant on her Voice Contract. So far... Released Monday, unlikely to be a Christmas contender in this case. Will be a US version and some European versions Song will be updated to be more 'modern' and remove references to hunger because its about ebola Cover will be designed by Tracy Emin
  2. People thinking Leona has enough of a career these days to get on this! (look at her being announced now, my luck :P)
  3. In Physicals in 2004. In a download era with songs 70p and the years biggest hits selling around double what they were in 2004, this could be record breaking. Or it could flop miserably. Its a coin flip, it depends on the artists.
  4. Sometimes drippy is OK. Especially when its not 'All about that base, all about that base, no treble..etc' annoyingness
  5. Eh, this is sugary and sweet but its harmless. I applaud Ed for knocking that nonsense off Number One.
  6. Bang Bang is so desparate
  7. In retrospect R Kelly singing no,no,no,no,no,no,no,no is sort of creepy. I think he must hear that a lot
  8. Your mind is telling you no but your body is telling you yes!
  9. This is more like it. Its amazingly cheesy. Lets get it going. 90s style.
  10. Multiple Ed Sheeran songs, multiple Sam Smith songs, multiple George Ezra songs, best sellers from last year/early this year to the point you'd think it was gift card week...please stop.
  11. Not going to happen I don't think. 8 weeks to go, labels concentrating on the pre-christmas albums market, christmas songs coming soon, then the 'best of the year' re-charts.
  12. The Saturdays- Gentleman I don't understand how The Saturdays are still going to be honest.
  13. Is it? They don't have a great run of number ones. Their debut, a charity song, and Little Things which was actually quite good. They have an avid fanbase but it doesn't translate to singles. Are their core fanbase even allowed to use mum's credit card? There is a reason they bring out their albums for Christmas.
  14. Not even close. This looks like a flop. Maybe it will gain after Children in Need night. Should have gone on sale after the video debut. Everyone just went to youtube and didn't download
  15. Yes, the advertisers are paying for your song listen because you are exposed to their campaigns and you get 1/10th of the say of someone who buys the song I hope this gives the Rock chart a shot in the arm, dear me we need new stuff in there.
  16. It will. Talent Show songs are going to shoot up this autumn with the 'I haven't heard that in years' effect
  17. That Sheeran lead is crazy, the song is crap. There cant be such thing as the Pharrell effect can there?
  18. Wait, a classic album like Grace peaked 20 years later! At 31! Because it was only 99p!
  19. Paramore posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
Jubel should have been released this week. It doesn't stand a chance against Secondcity but could have snatched #1
  20. Mr Probz, Keisza and Duke sound very little alike. Tsunami is just crap. I don't see why our chart has to be similar to the US one? They have a more urban leaning over there, always have. Bar the early 00s we've always been more pop/dance.
  21. Secondcity is a pre-order! That explains Kworb, I've been wondering why it has been flopping so badly. So when does it come out?
  22. I don't think I have heard anywhere play Ann Lee 2 Times since 2000!
  23. Really shocked Devotion, U Sure Do and Its my Life have come up already. Proper classics. Fatboy Slim was popular for a summer in 1999 it seems
  24. I have a feeling Foxes is going to go this way. Music TV wass throwing Let it Go on every 15 minutes last week and its really disproportionate to the chart.
