There were manly tears on Monday night watching Amour, I won't lie.

Silver Linings Playbook did absolutely nothing for me. The Academy really are in love with David O. Russell, aren't they? Him over Affleck too? Christ. I do think Amour is one of the best films I've ever seen, although one of the most difficult to watch too. Harrowing. Emmanuelle Riva was stunning but will sadly lose out purely because of the hype that surrounds Jennifer Lawrence. Her performance was rather ordinary, so perfect for the Oscars then.

I am shocked at a lot of the cast for agreeing to this. :manson: Kate Winslet, really?

Just about. I really do like the first four, but the other two (and the new single with Tinie Tempah) are trash.

Ah, completely forgot about Nurse Jackie! This season was easily the best yet, especially after it had become borderline atrocious at one point.

Showtime are just too much. I really hope they don't drag Homeland out this long. However, this season has been the first decent one since season four.

Blackwater! Yes! Not quite sure how I forgot to include that. I'm admittedly not the biggest fan of Game of Thrones (perhaps due to the genre and for some reason not really *feeling* this season until 'The Old Gods and the New') but it when it is good it is excellent.

People always ask me how I find the time to watch so much but I literally have to watch something before I go to sleep. :(

This season has made it hard to believe it was directly competing with cable drama at one point. I'm genuinely confused by the success of Scream & Shout. I dislike majority of the music that clutters the top of the charts but can still understand/appreciate (almost) why they sell so well. There is absolutely nothing to this. Tuneless. No promo either? And Britney hasn't exactly been massive for the past five or so years? Baffling.

An average season of Mad Men is still better than 95% of everything else on TV!

Hated the first thirty minutes. It just plodded along. Loved the final thirty minutes. Season three should be a completely different beast! Looking forward to it.
