Perfect Bassey stylings, one of her best Paije - Decent stab at it, not particularly memorable but good vocals Wagner - Yeah, OK, he was bad! Still funny though. Great comeback to Cheryl though, put that in your pipe and smoke it!!! Katie - bad start, great, great ending, plus she actually works that hairdo brilliantly On performance a Matt-Rebecca bottom 2 Possibly a Katie-Matt bottom 2? Or Katie-Paije? Is Cheryl taking the p*** with Katie's song choice?! Though I suppose she could've gone for something else sarky like 'Love Me Do' which would've been worse for Katie to sing. Suppose it could be good, doubt it'll be her best though. If they had to go for early Beatles, she should've had Can't Buy Me Love or You've Got To Hide Your Love Away acoustic-y. I infinitely prefer the physical album over download albums - and if there's a choice between a £10 regular and £20 deluxe edition I...tend to wait until massive reductions work in my favour :) And totally agree with the Stone Roses packages - especially since I'm a 'late buyer' of it myself!!! Have seen it for £40+ in HMV stores though :o

There IS this :) I do like 'em, of course, but they do usually cost too much. The only ones which cost loads and loads but are worth it are the huge boxsets with records/cds/books/USBs in - like Portishead's and the Stone Roses reissue, and even then I think over £50 is too steep.

Definitely not worth the extra money. 2-disc (either bonus CD or DVD versions) are worth more, but not double or extra (and they rarely get reduced as often - for example, I've seen Out of Control and Hard Candy deluxe editions for 20-odd quid in HMV quite recently - who's going to buy them at that price when the albums have been and gone ages ago?!?!) I would say, if the regular edition is £8.99, then: 'UK Bonus Tracks' - should be same or £9.99 Bonus disc (of mostly already released stuff - Winehouse, Pixie Lott) - £9.99 Bonus disc of outtakes/demos/new tracks - £11 max - £10 if re-issue like Fame Monster Bonus DVD - no more than £11 Bonus disc in big 'book' packaging - £15 max (ideally £12-13) Fancy bull$h!t : 3 disc/poster/t-shirt/whatever - £20 maximum Deluxe editions of old albums should be treated about the same - ideally £10 or less where the above is £11.

This is so true. Singing ability has SOME bearing on the results obviously but it's not everything. The person/people who teenage girls/middle aged women/(people on forums!) fancy is a big part of it. Partisan voting is too - especially with Irish/Welsh/Scottish (i.e. Conway Sisters, Macdonald Brothers?!) acts, and I'd argue with acts who have a strong cultural identity - e.g. Rebecca probably has a lot of Liverpool people voting for her. And, of course, it's about likeability. Katie Waissel won't win the X-Factor. Not because she's a bad singer or performer (it's simply not realistic to say she's in the bottom five of who's left, let alone the worst), but because many people detest her. It's bollocks when people on the show say 'don't know why she's always bottom 2'. It is obviously because of the massive negative press that people are buying in to. How can they not state this obvious point? One Direction are not the best singers on the show, but have a good chance of winning, because they have five different members, equalling a range of fanciability to voting teenage girls and their mums. Apart from taking out (most of) the complete $h!te, the judges set up up a popularity contest/$h!tstorm with a few really-talented people amongst it.

Human by The Killers. IMO the worst opening single for any of their albums (possibly their worst single overall), yet it was absolutely massive.

Simon would give them $h!t songs IMO) This year seems to have more good performers/singers than last year (and most of the other years) and Wagner is better comedy than Jedward. Joe wouldn't win this year, definitely not. Alexandra would have a chance, Leon wouldn't win, Shayne would be in the final, Steve wouldn't be final 16, and we have the new Leona for the final in the shape of Rebecca.

WOOOO :cheer: I didn't mind Aiden, but so glad that Katie is still in. She IS talented, she has had some bad performances (her Elton was average) but her good ones - like her Aguilera - more than make up for it! Even if she is a total bitch, who cares? I don't think she's that bad, she's sometimes stroppy and diva-y, but that doesn't necessarily equal bitch. As a performer she can be bloody amazing. Obviously Rebecca and Matt are better suited to winning the X-Factor, both have very good voices, but Katie does have a great voice on the right songs (which she often doesn't do on the show - and Katie doing an X-Factor winner's album would be dire - so she shouldn't win, but the exposure should hopefully get her a decent record deal). Paige has grown on me but he won't win, nor will Wagner (who was actually decent this time!) though I hope the Wagner vote will keep him in til near the final. Mary I like but she is a bit samey (and her 'There You'll Be', despite the judges' loving it, wasn't great IMO; she was OK this time) One Direction, yawn. OK this week, but just another same old same old pretty-boy band. That doesn't mean they can't sing (don't think any of them are brilliant though), but it's obvious they will be tailored for a certain market if they win. Cher I just don't like at all, I don't get why the Katie hate is constant but the Cher hate isn't. Cher has had some good performances, some not so good, but I just don't like her attitude. In the whole Gamu thing Cher was panned as much as Katie, and Cher has also had some bad press, some of which is arguably worse and more justified than any of Katie's, if true. Paige will be out next, then Mary or Katie, then Mary or Katie, then Wagner, then Cher or (possibly!) Rebecca, as Matt and 1D have the obvious fan votes, and Cher has over 1 million Facebook fans, whereas Rebecca has about 800k less fans (I know this is not concrete but it is an indication of how people like the contestants). Rebecca, Cher, 1D and Matt final four.
