Miraculum
David, let me know if you get hold of it. I'll let you know if one of my contacts passes it on to me.

Chart positions from high street stores in the UK
Yeah I found the same thing in the great shopping paradise of Wigan. HMV had it on display but WH Smiths were making a much greater effort. It's their album of the week and higher up in their chart.

Miraculum
I went to buy it on i tunes yesterday....only to find, like David, that it's disappeared! Grrr.

Last Time by Moonlight
I've only just listened to the album once tonight. I knew before I played it how popular 'Last time by moonlight' was amongst the people who had already heard the album. Perhaps my expectations were a bit high, or maybe I just need to give it a few more listens, but I wasn't blown away by it.

My! My! Time Flies!
Yeah I quite liked it from my first hearing. I need to listen to it again. I think one of the good things about it is that it gives a bit of much-needed variety to the album. There are so many slow ballady tracks that it came as a bit of a relief to have something a bit lighter.

O Come O Come Emmanuel appreciation
I've just listened to the album for the first time and I'm feeling a bit underwhelmed and confused. But, from first listen, O come, O come Emmanuel is the best track on the album. Absolutely fantastic.

Listen to all the song samples here
I'm not reading this thread lol. I'm just doing my very best to not hear any samples before Monday. I've only heard Trains and Winter Rains and I want the album to be completely new to me when I buy it. It's getting hard though. Enya forums are all full of opinions about the tracks. I don't want to know anything but it's bloody killing me now.

The Loxian Games (Roma's new competition)
They are in Year 9 so they are 14 year olds. And yeah, they solved a lot of it quicker than me lol.

The Loxian Games (Roma's new competition)
Lol. Yeah I had a few of my classes working on the Loxian Games for a few minutes each lesson. I'm lucky cos I've got a suite of computers at the back of my classroom so for the last ten minutes of the lesson I'd let them have a go. I was amazed at how quickly some of them grasped the whole concept and found things far quicker than I had. They really got into and loved writing their name in Loxian on the whiteboard. One girl did her whole homework (on the Catholic rite of Baptism) in Loxian. It took me 45 minutes to mark it. I gave her an 'A' but I'm dreading facing her parents at Parents' Evening.

The Loxian Games (Roma's new competition)
I'll have to go and have a look at them. I would have loved to submit one of my classes working on the Loxian Games at school but for child protection reasons we simply can't video them and put footage on the net.

Independent.ie offers an exclusive one song preview per day
Yeah I listened to samples for Amarantine and regretted it. I'm determined to wait this time around. I have watched the EPK video so heard some brief snippets but I'm not listening to any more. A friend in America has emailed me 'Dreams are more precious' but I've resisted listening. I'm also not listening to the sample of 'White is in the winter night' which I know is out there. Not long to go now....

The Loxian Games (Roma's new competition)
Actually, after some careful thought, ignore my above request. I think the above message would fan the flames on Unity and cause some people to protest again that I have won. I don't want to stir up any controversy again.

The Loxian Games (Roma's new competition)
Would one of you do me a favour? I'd love someone to post the following on Unity: "Ben sincerely thanks you for your congratulations and he sends his congratulations to all the fellow winners and runners-up too. He also wants to thank Roma, Lee, Enya and Nicky for a wonderful competition, fantastic prizes and the contributions to great projects that will make a real difference to our world and the lives of many people." I understand if no-one wants to do this, but if anyone does, I'd be really grateful. :)

The Loxian Games (Roma's new competition)
Yeah I'm really pleased. Out of the three left I was really hoping that I wouldn't get The Celts. I don't know why, I've just never considered it a proper album. I'm also not keen on the Shepherd Moons cover. I've always loved the cover of 'A day without rain' even though I don't think it's her best album. I'm delighted to get 'A day without rain'.....definitely my second choice after Watermark. I think the prize is fantastic and I'm going to email my thanks to Lee to pass on to Roma, Enya and Nicky. :)

The Loxian Games (Roma's new competition)
Luua is shadows. I went for it because I couldn't see how it related to an album. But really, there's no pattern. Pirrro is rain so I was certain it would contain 'A day without rain'. However, as you say Grace, it contains 'Watermark'. It's anyone's guess what will be in Luua. However, there's only The Celts, Shepherd Moons and A day without rain left. I'm not expecting Paint the sky with stars to be in any of the three remaining boxes. Now that the masterful Watermark has gone, I'm pinning my hopes on 'A day without rain'.....only because it's my 2nd favourite album cover after Watermark.

And Winter Came EPK
I feel the same David. But the interview could well be the EPK one that's on enya.com. Then I'd be annoyed if I paid money for it.

Miraculum
It's a great title and sounds like it could be a Latin track.

The Loxian Games (Roma's new competition)
The second mystery box has been announced: Essa (meaning leaves) It is the same prizes, but this time it is a gold disc of The Memory of Trees. This must mean then, that Kan (meaning moon) contains Shepherd Moons and Pirrro (meaning rain) contains A day without rain. I went for Luua (meaning shadow). I hope it's Watermark! But then Ju (Snow) could be Watermark and Luua could be The Celts or Paint the sky with stars.

Trains and Winter Rains-the video
I like the video and think it's an improvement on the last few. Ok, Enya herself isn't doing anything particularly different, but it's nice to see her against an urban setting for a change. It's more modern and less fairytale which suits me fine. I think I would prefer the album cover to reflect these changes a bit more.

And Winter Came EPK
Yes I agree. I thought O come, o come Emmanuel sounded amazing. I've decided straight away that we will use it in our Christmas assemblies at school this year! I'm not going to watch the clip again....I want the album to be a surprise so I want to forget what I've heard. Interesting that 'And winter came' is an instrumental. I never believed the rumours that the album didn't have a single instrumental. And also interesting that 'Stars and Midnight Blue' is an expanded version of 'Midnight Blue'.

Enya to appear on GMTV
Aigle have really improved their communication this year. I'm getting more and more impressed with how much they're keeping the fan base informed this year.

The Loxian Games (Roma's new competition)
I'm guessing that all the boxes contain the same prize but with a different gold disc. If I'm right, then I hope mine is Watermark. But really, I'd be delighted with anything I get.

The Loxian Games (Roma's new competition)
Well they've announced the winners of the 'ea' box. Three people went for it: Treecat, Terry and KitKat. They receive: An Amarantine Gold Disc commemorating the Loxian Games A signed promo single of 'Trains and winter rains' A signed media pack A Loxian Games medal Plus a contribution is made to a charitable project on the winners' behalf. This is a fantastic prize. I nearly went for that box thinking it would be related to the 'Watermark' album which is my favourite Enya album.

The Loxian Games (Roma's new competition)
Well I've made my final choice. I realised that the six boxes relate to the six Loxian seasons and then I tried to figure out what the prizes could be. This is what I came up with? kan: Moon (the new remastered/expanded edition of Shepherd Moons???) ju: Snow (something to do with And winter came? A presentation box? The glass statue given in London?) pirrro: Rain (something to do with A day without rain??) luua: Shadow (no idea whatsoever!) essa: Leaves (the new remastered/expanded edition of The Memory of Trees?) ea: Water (the new remastered/expanded edition of Watermark??) Of course, I might be completely wrong. Anyway, because the boxes seem to all relate to albums, I went for luua because I don't have a clue what it could be. I just hope it's not related to The Celts lol. Anyway, I'll be pleased with and grateful for whatever I've won. It was hard not to go for ea as Watermark is my favourite album. It was also hard not to go for ju in case it's an invite to a launch event for the new album lol.
