Wow you're doing well! I've got the audio clip but I can't understand a word of it. I think it's backwards and I've got to convert it but I haven't got a clue how to. I'm sure that's what Eclipse is.....a track played backwards.

I have been through all five websites relating to the Loxian Game. I have slowly and painstakingly written everything down. All the books, their contents, the Loxian writing, the English etc. I have pages of notes. I am determined to crack this week's one more quickly!

It's the dvd content I'm most interested in - tv show material from the UK such as the Terry Wogan show.

I've done it! I've got the green! Thanks yet again for your hints. I would never have known that the Oracle would answer such a general question. Once I figured out what to ask the Oracle I completed the rest of it in a few minutes. I'm going to try really hard in week three to master it on my own. But I'm really not good at this sort of thing and I'm impressed with the people who can work out these things without any hints or clues lol.

Well I've translated the name of the ship and I've found the flower. Now what????? God I am so useless at these games. I would never be able to work out things like ruffling pages and changing computer clocks. Have I got to do something bizarre now? I've asked the Oracle a question and he has replied with a question. Well I'm stuck once again. Should the tell button on the flower do anything? I was sure I'd just have to type the name of the ship into the tell box and all would be revealed. But no, it's far more bloody complicated than that.

I've been writing an essay for my Masters the last two nights so not done any more. I'm going to have a go tonight. I'm very grateful to Debarqha for the help given. :)

Well done! I have now looked really closely in the Valleys and found the ship's name! I spotted it almost by accident after having been there about 10 times over the last two days! So I've made some progress at least.

Thanks Debarha for sharing your experience. I have the 2 cities, 3 Aigle sites and the Oracle but thought there might be a new one. When I ask the Oracle where the end-dwellers are she replies ".com" so I thought there might be a new site. I won't bother wasting any more time trying to find one now!! I can't find anything. I keep reading of a ship, a map and a flower but can't see any of them. Nor do I know what the question to ask the Oracle is in order to get her to reply with another question! I'm really struggling this week. And yet, I've heard some people think this week is more straight-forward than last week. I must be really thick.

Thanks a million Debarqha! :) How on earth do people work out how to do that???!!! I would never in a million years thought of ruffling the pages. Nor would I have thought of changing the clock on my computer to midnight lol. I read somewhere that there are 6 different alphabets in Loxian? I can only find the ones in the Book of Rain Script and the Book of Water Script. Are there any more somewhere else? Oh, one last question! Is there another website for this week's quiz other than the 5 I've been visiting?

I've got the green lyric from round 1. But it was all a bit by accident. I haven't done any translating. How do you do the translations? People have referred to reading the Book of Water script but I find it's blank. Where is the book of Loxian script with all these alphabets? I'm confused.

I didn't bother translating anything. I found the red word and posted it somewhere. Don't overcomplicate it or you'll go round and round in circles!

I've found the green lyric - quite easily in the end. I don't know how I did it. I certainly didn't use the oracle much nor did I bother translating the Loxian. I just kind of hit on it by luck by finding the right place to 'tell' the red password. I suppose I'll have to have a go at the second round next week.

And to be honest, as a Head of RE in a Catholic school, I was really hoping for some Christian Christmas music that I can use in assemblies and liturgies lol. I can't really see me using Loxian songs with the students no matter how beautiful the melody, arrangement and vocals are.

It would be an enormous mistake and it would show that the trio are losing grip with reality and losing touch with both their fanbase and the casual listeners.

David, What uni are you going to do and what course?

I just can't fathom any of it out. I think I'm going to give up. Too many books. It just doesn't make sense to me. It's all a bit of nonsense really. I like the music but I'm really not interested in made up Loxian stuff. Frankly, I'm too busy to be bothered with it all. It all seems a bit juvenile to me. Harsh I know. Just being honest. :(

I'm coming to a different conclusion, David. I'm expecting that Loxian will appear on the new release. That will surely make it more of a winter album than a Christmas album. I can't imagine the, ahem, Loxians celebrate Christmas.

I think it's too complicated for me lol. I'll keep an eye on it but I'm not sure I'll really grasp it. I think I'd rather they gave us some news rather than invent competitions. I'm quite astounded by how much effort they seem to be putting into devising this competition.

I think it's almost definitely the Christmas album from last year and that it was simply not ready a year ago. That has to be a good sign as it increases the likelihood of getting more new tracks. I'm sure we'll get the SOTS tracks but I think it's quite likely that there could be 8 new tracks. I only tend to listen to Christmas in December though so I hope they get cracking on a new studio album after this! Certainly, there won't be any promotion involved after Christmas so they might return to the studio quite quickly. It might not be 5 years till the next release.

I agree with David. I can't see a top 10 placing for a Christmas album. I'm hoping that it won't be a Christmas album. I only listen to Christmas music for a couple of weeks a year. I really hope they shelved those plans and have worked on a new studio album. They'll have had to work quickly on it though and I don't know if they're capable of doing that.
