Oooh. I just had an idea of how they'll escape. Locke will reach the end of the island, just as Kate and Sawyer reach the end of theirs. They'll wave to eachother and catch up over a nice cup of tea. Desmond will use his magic powers to fly them to safety back to the island, and then take out a lightsabre and defeat the monster. Then they will all live happily ever after... until episode 8! Well... its no more far fetched than season 3 has been so far! :P
