I've listened to the whole album now and it's like he's trying to be the cheeky chappy but the lyrics and melodies don't have much oomph or energy so they blend into one. It's not a bad album but there isn't much that grabs me as a non-Olly fan. The only song with any personality whatsoever is "I Hate You When You're Drunk" but those "LA LA LA LA LA LA LA LA" sound childish and are beyond ridiculous.
  2. Radio 1 Tune of the Weekend and A-List ...of course it is...

This album is so bizarre and Olly posted snippet of a song with "Bruno Mars or Olly?" which tells you the exact vibe he was going for with this album.
  4. It sounds nothing like Perfect and there would be no comparisons made to that song if Lewis hadn't said it was a collab with Ed all the time.
  5. I'm so happy to listen to the full song later because I am sick of scrolling on TikTok and hearing "I bring her coffee in the morning" every other post. <_<
  6. 1000 CDs available for pre-order from 5pm tomorrow.
  7. Tom was in Belgium yesterday at Q Pop Festival but Shirley was wearing the same blue dress as her IG so maybe they filmed it earlier in the day. Cool performance!
  8. That’s fine then if they are clever with lighting and camera angles as I’ve only seen them recorded on the Saturday with the audience.
  9. Are they on Strictly? Unless they pre-recorded it a while ago neither of them were in the country last night and Joel has been in the USA and Canada for most of November.
  10. He made a joke on TikTok to make it go viral for him because it’s exhausting for him to keep posting about it
  11. Was he… calmer? I heard he was over-excited on Wednesday and it derailed some of the songs that some people actually knew. There’s 3 songs from the album I haven’t heard (Ten Tons, Lost In You and Crashing Down) but I don’t think he’s played them anywhere - not sure why!

  13. To be honest I would rather Sam release music that he wants with the range he has rather than boxing himself to the charts with mainstream pop or TikTok music. The response to his performances last night is insane, the general public love him and good for him! It's more promotion for his album than anything else which has 100% worked. It's weirdly also benefited Space Man on iTunes. Btw I heard 3 unreleased songs from his album and ATWO is nothing like them or his EP. "Put A Light On Me", "OK" and "Deep Blue Doubt" are all (not in a bad way) strangely different too.
  14. It was inevitable this was going to be the World Cup song. I wonder if it was written with that intention/hope from the start.

  16. 15. John Farnham - You're the Voice (Strictly) and for Eurovision nostalgia… 54. Sam Ryder - SPACE MAN (he didn’t even perform it)
  17. They are performing on Strictly next week https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001fq6y
  18. Um I was reading a Dutch review which rated Sonder 1 1/2 stars and called Dermot the Aldi version of Ed Sheeran oop and said your face will look like the album cover after 3 songs as they sound the same https://www.dansendeberen.be/2022/11/18/der...n-van-den-aldi/
  19. I thought it was strange but on It Takes Two the creative director said Sam was asked to sing that particular song in Blackpool. He’s been singing it on his tour so obviously he knew about it. It sounds like it’s for the group dance tbh. Then elsewhere it says he is the guest for the results show to perform one of his songs.
  20. Casual/newer fans appear to love the album and think he's the best thing since sliced bread. Older fans don't like the album and said it's not him and brings nothing new, unqiue or interesting to the table. I think there is disappointment because he hyped the album so much and pushed it back 2/3 times claiming he wanted it to be perfect and the unreleased songs are synthy and autotuned. I actually got a little bored listening to the album. There is no magic, no storytelling and when he does say the right thing there is no emotion or grit that makes me believe it. He might be getting chart hits but it feels a little formulaic and everything he waited on sounds the same. That might be me as a lot of people do like the album.
  21. To add to the festive cheer Subwoolfer (the yellow wolves from Eurovision) have released a festive banger called "Having Grandma Here for Christmas" yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum yum etc. except they are actually eating Grandma so that's a bit awkward.
  22. This was so cute Sam serenading his best mate Scott Mills to a re-imagined Space Man/All The Way Over @1592826189667700736

Tion Wayne - IFTK (feat. La Roux) Steve Lacey - Bad Habit Arctic Monkeys - There’d Better Be a Mirrorball Nicki Minaj - Super Freaky Girl
  24. There's definitely an issue as I stumbled across some frustrated fans who said they were annoyed about it being pushed back then found out others had received their album in the UK and abroad. He's done tons of promo concerts over the last week so UK #1 shouldn't be an issue really.

Hopefully he will perform on Strictly on December 4th.
