On Facebook 3 hours ago the OCC said Sidemen have climbed 11 places in 48 hours and there is momentum.

I’m shocked and happily surprised Sam Ryder has 4529 sales. That’s already more than Olly Murs sold last week! :kink:

Desperation. This is about their ego. I think Sidemen have a better chance than them.

Sidemen are raising money for FareShare. I just think they have a more rounded chance with streams, YouTube and downloads. It’s not cheesy and the EDM version slaps. Their fanbase support is consistent and Spotify are supporting them with billboards.

I still reckon Sidemen could stand a chance because their downloads look good and they have the streaming fanbase that LadbBaby and The Kunts don’t especially as KSI is involved.

Ugh I can’t believe Amy Wadge helped to write this song.

Could SZA get #1 on the album chart?

I’m not sure if I’m that surprised because SPACE MAN wasn’t a massive hit in Ireland and Sam didn’t do promotion there. I think they were focused on the UK.

I’m really happy for Sam :cheer: A huge achievement since May to have his first single at number 2 and his debut album at number 1. His fanbase pulled through for him.

Sam’s record label will push sales until the end regardless. They took into account that he doesn’t have streaming power from day -59 he said that himself. Thank goodness for the British public.

I think that’s because the standalone live version has to include the standard tracks to count as the original which it doesn’t. Fabulous for Sam to have both so high nonetheless.

But that’s not a source. I would expect Taylor to be #2 if SZA is on 5K. If it was a big achievement all the big artists that are releasing in Jan - March would release next week instead?

:unsure: I know Eurovision fans that have bought 10 copies of the album and own everything he’s ever released! 💿 If he needed more sales he could add a limited colour vinyl and the same people would buy it. Who knows what’s going on behind the scenes if he’s doing non-album gigs during release week but it’s definitely not sleeping. He said he spoke to Olly Murs who said he’s going on holiday to recover :P He did one signing in Westfield London yesterday.
