I stumbled across a Creator Universe video showing fans how to properly support their music on iTunes and Amazon, after realising they were inadvertently telling them wrong, because they understand it either.

I watched the MTV recap of all the Christmas #1s and most of them from the last 15 - 20 years have been complete dirge. Leon Jackson's X Factor abomination was atrociously bad.

Sam’s "Why isn't it on (streaming platform)?" brigade wouldn't download it if they could listen to it for free. They are annoyed it’s not on their streaming platform. Sam wouldn’t stand any realistic chance of #1 on his own, and would probably be happier with top 5 and a nice cheque from Amazon.

They say sign up for the OCC's 'breaking news updates'... but it’s only going to be the same information as usual. It’s just a con to get people to sign up to their newsletter.

I thought Creator Universe would be hyping up their Christmas song, but they've been kinda quiet? I was expecting them to be shoving it down our throats every five minutes. Maybe they've given up on it? Please say they have...

I'm still trying to figure out how Spotify counts streams for new songs, but Creator Universe has updated to 6067 streams. Is that for Friday?

Are Creator Universe anywhere on the Amazon chart?

I think there needs to be a new bet: Will Ladbaby chart higher than Creator Universe?

I also reckon that plenty of people don't know how to download music for it to count as one sale. I've seen some people say "I've downloaded this for you on Spotify."

I think Wham! have this in the bag, but I’ll be very happy to see Noah get it! I have money on both of them :lol: I am not optimistic about Creator Universe's chances. Their biggest blunder was not offering pre-orders.

The Pogues will only get the Christmas #1 if sales are based on hopes, dreams, and wishful thinking.

Last year iirc LadBaby were 16k ahead of Wham! and Mariah on the Monday update and it still wasn’t a done deal.

At least 50k, but Creative Universe didn’t debut at #1 on iTunes which suggests they didn’t have pre-orders.

I'm guessing it'll be for Creator Universe. Maybe they'll be in the video since they've got a big following. It's a bit cryptic, but they wouldn't want to try again using their brand if they know they could lose.

The TikTok Collective song is only 79p on iTunes. LadBaby never discounted it. :drama:
