No I meant on iTunes :P its at #18
  3. I swear it hasn't been premiered yet and that's the reason :P

If Kiss the Stars 'Pixie Lott' can (the most generic song of 2012), then im sure this can take it back top 50. No one really believed Disco Love would get to top 5 until its final pre-release week so you never know

    Isn't it already top 20?
  6. Pointless in terms of affecting sales but it does show that there is interest in it
  7. Its got another 100,000 in the bag today :)

I don't think many were keen on Sam Bailey

I dont see the difference aha
  10. To be fair, The Vamps new single hasn't been played by TV stations or Radios yet even though Capital are dying to play it. All that's happened is that its had its premiere on TV so it shouldn't be worrying for the sats
  11. ive checked their twitter. Yeah its doing well on minor UK Radios at the moment and has impacted on TV stations like Brazil. I heard it on Kiss FM a few times actually

The song doesn't necessarily need to do well in order to boost sales, it just needs to be a single that will connect with audiences and give them an impression of the album's overall sound. Im pretty sure Gravity and Radioactive (Rita Ora) barely had success yet it helped both albums climb significantly, although they both got decent airplay which im sure this will get too.

If Not Giving Up goes Top 5, most likely, the album could re-peak, so the whole campaign could actually be saved. e.g. Pixie Lott's 'Gravity' allowed her free-falling album to re-peak at number 6 e.g. Ellie Goulding's How long will I Love You allowed her album to go back to number one. So i wouldn't be worried. They're probably only selling 100/110 copies a week if including physical sales

I think it's because each bbc radio are meant for a different age target so it's more organised todifferentiate each bbc radio network

It'll get top 100 during its final week til release most likely. Unless they do some pre promoting, they won't be climbing back in any time soon :(
  16. Well that's good, plays already before the premiere?
  17. It hasn't been premiered yet. All the examples you gave had a special premiere slot. Not giving up is yet to have one

Except for Work B*tch, the rest were/are going to be mega-sized hits which appealed to a wide range of youngsters. My 8 year old sister loves Moves Like Jagger and Candy.

I quite like The Hunger Games and disney films since the main plots aren't always the romance
  20. Reckon it will just scrap 100,000 views today :P 5 days with views being over 100,000. 2nd best longevity since WBU!!

I agree with voting if the station is funded by the public in the first place
  22. For me the best vocalist would be Jade or Perry but the latter has just a tad stronger voice. Worst: Jesy (nothing else i can say tbh)
  23. Where are they? I thought they'd have taken over the UK by now :(
  24. Paloma Faith can't really be compared to an act like Kylie. Into The Blue has entered the top 40 most played songs on Capital this week whilst Capital avoid most of her songs. Kylie will easily go top 5. Lily Allen will slip quickly but the week Into The Blue is released, it will be a high competition week.
  25. Hopefully, this era is bigger than BL. Haha there needs to be a Kylie Show part ll, such an entertaining special! I just don't like Sexercise. Sounds a little cheap, but it seems like Nu-di-ty part ll to me
