  1. The saturdays rely too much on the radio to make their songs do well. They need to be securing strong promotion aswell, such as the artist who did bonfire heart, that had longevity because it was promoted very well, it wasn't supported by capital a lot even though they playlisted it

Yay! I have a feeling it'll make C list on BBC one but not any higher :(

It'll do an elephant/it's my party though he latter go loads of airplay on its final week before release. Itl get to #03 than topple to #17 next week EDIT - Capital fm haven't updated their playlist yet have they? They still have theirs at 12th February 2014

:P her next single may do better

Bridge fm have played it the most with over 40 spins and hasn't playlisted it yet. Radio one has only played it once which was the premiere and capital have played it twice and thrice in some regions

    I quite like it :P

I doubt it'll be that low. Worst thatll happen s that her fan base will boot it up top 5 then it will slip in the next few weeks down the chart. 4 weeks top 40?
  8. I like it but theyve made Una age 30 years in the pic :(

Keep trying to add one but won't let me

Pros: Nasty went all the way to #35 on pre orders on day 1 Topped about 15 shazam charts which is influential on the radio Youtube views are soaring and is already heading to 2 million without release yet Capital keep posting updates about the song, which is a good sign they'll playlist it Radio one did premiere it so it could have a good chance of play listing this week. She'll promote the hell out of it Smaller stations are playing the heck out of it Top 20 on tv airplay already Cons: Underperformance of previous album No play listing as of yet Pre-orders have dropped to about #500-600 range on itunes chart As much as people like it, some people hate it Been absent for two years which could ruin interest Last chance of play listing by radio one May not even get playlisted So even even, it could do well, it may do not

Tbh I'm not sure, even if she had rubbish singles, they'd always go top 5 because of her fan base. (Pre-album). Nasty already number one in a handful of shazam charts and is 2 on my uk shazam chart, so it's been noticed. It's dethroned rather be in some places

Hi, what do you think pixie lott's latest single will do when it is released a month from now :) I'd say top 3. I'd love it to go number 1 tough

Considering capital update news on Nasty like every other day, I can see them playing the hell out of this once play listed. Not sure about radio 1 but they'll playlist it like 1 week prior. Kylie overtaking her was inevitable tbh

Radio plays updates Into the Blue - 262 plays Nasty - 225 plays Word Up! - 9 plays
  15. vivek posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Tbh Broken Arrow underperformed so it was obvious this would miss the top 20 altogether
  16. vivek posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Not a single. It was cancelled
  17. vivek posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
She's never had a single that's missed the top 20 let alone the top 200

Then Nasty went to #45 on pre-orders alone as soon as it was released. It should get play listed by radio 1 and capital next week. Got this from another forum (ATRL) btw: Radio Plays of new releases around Nasty's release. Pixie Lott - Nasty = 153 plays Lily Allen - Air Balloon = 96 plays Kylie Minogue - Into The Blue = 70 plays One Direction - Midnight Memories = 47 plays Paloma Faith - Can't Rely On You = 37 plays Little Mix - Word Up! = 9 plays Lily Allen seems to have slowed down but Kylie's airplay is rocketing which will be Pixie's high competition that week. She'll probably overtake Pixie by next week. Although 153 plays is pretty decent in comparison to the other songs on that list.

They better playlist pixie next week!

It's pixie lott, her pre orders are doing great, and her youtube views are massive compared to other acts. I doubt she will do a disco love by the sats
  21. vivek posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Is it too early to worry about Pixie not been play listed on radio one or capital yet?
  22. vivek posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
They're only covers, we'll have to hear the album to see if it's gonna be bad or good of a comeback
  23. vivek posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
The era will probably do well since the management will probably take extra care since the last era underperformed
  24. vivek posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Looking at how low budget her previous album was, I'd've still thought she had money from turn it up era still
  25. Disco Love never made it top 100. It was #110 or something. What About us got to #42 - #20 range by the time it was released.
