  1. Okay so Disco Love is a bad title, that doesn't mean it wont do good in the charts. Come on, The wanted with 'Walks like Rihanna' is one of the most potentially stupid names Ive heard in the past few years, yet it didn't do badly in the charts??

Yeah that's what I thought too??
  3. Yeah, that's why I said I was kidding afterwards ;) I doubt it will be called Sex on the Beach, as long as it does well in the charts

I guess, but I still think it hadn't done too badly. Alexandra Burke's singles had all failed after Elephant. Im thankful it didn't go that way at least :S

SO, was it axed or a second season was never planned to be commissioned. The earlier one is what newspapers and websites have said, the latter was stated by the girls

And Just found this: Chasing The Saturdays, which documented the girl group trying to crack the US, only lasted one series on US network E! before being shown the back door by TV execs unhappy with poor ratings. US figures for the ten-episode series were so poor they went as low as 100,000. And it seems the reason Americans weren’t fussed about the show was because Mollie King, Frankie Sanford, Una Healy, Vanessa White and Rochelle Humes got on far too well. ‘It got killed in the ratings,’ a source told The Sun. ‘US fans like drama and conflict but The Saturdays actually liked each other.’ Haha the end of it slayed me, they actually liked each other!!

    Where is it??

Has anyone noticed, The wanted's show has been on recently on E! ?? The ratings at the beginning are very similar to The Saturdays. Their initial premiere got only 600,000 viewers whereas The sats got 914,000 (I think, might be more). But after their slot movement, The Sats dribbled all the way down to 101,000. The Wanted were moved to Saturday nights after a while and it got them 998,000 viewers! If only that Happened to the ats...
  9. I bet its a ballad. Nah im kidding, but it may be like Here Standing, a single considered to be released, but ultimately they will go with something else
  10. Im pretty sure It'll go number 1 with that title!

I think Gentleman's not doing too bad. A fall from 14 - 30 - 49 was not as bad as I was thinking! 30 Days and My heart takes over pathetically failed, but this should be able to sell over 100k eventually
  12. On Gentleman's wiki and on the Saturdays main page it says this (the last one was only on the Gentleman page): On an Interview in The Show with Vinny, they confirmed their new single 'Sex on the Beach' would be coming out in late October, a week prior to the album. Rochelle Humes stated that the song was 'fresh' and 'creative'.[2] This will also be accompanied by their B-side which is entitled 'Crush My Head'. [3]
  13. Lol, It'll be so funny if it was called 'Sex on the Beach', so much for radio friendly :P

Well, it also became the fast selling single of the year at one point and is top 5 in both tv and radio airplay. I don't think its only just on sales as All about tonight by Pixie Lott touched 380,000 copies around the time she got nominated for best single. In my view they will probably get it regardless.

Making fun of them, calling them floppdays (or whatever) and being fans is a bit odd. I think its not the end of the world, its not like the album will be released off gentleman so I don't see a big problem here.
  16. Its because Lily Allen is her artist name. She still goes by Lily Cooper

Not really, I think itll do fine. A lot of you seem to be forgetting that just because a single messes up, an album doesn't have to fail too. Emeli Sande had Heaven which peaked at #2. But then released Daddy which peaked at #21, followed by an album release and then another single 'Next to me' to accompany it, before getting a brit award. That didn't fail because of Daddy and in all fairness, On your radar's ads wernt as nearly shown as Headline's advert was shown on TV, so it had less exposure. Pixie lott released Broken Arrow and that went to #12 before her re-release which went to #9 and sold 400k copies on the single alone. Paloma Faith has had no great single performance and yet her album's gone multi-platinum just because she regularly releases singles and it revives her album back into the top 100. I don't think it's the end of the world and in all fairness, OYR would've lasted much longer if it had a better planned release (not in a Christmas rush).

You never know, it may do an issues, but a lower profile, so it may climb to #10 if they reduce its price. Par example, Kiss the Stars was reduced to 59p, went all the way upto #3 before sinking back down the next week to #5 and then out of top 10, as they turned it back to 99p

I don't know if it was on here or Popjustice, but someone said that the kworb colours don't really mean anything unless the change is very significant. However, Wild is in red at the moment too, so no one's benefitting from it anyways and the sats are still only 0.1%ish away from The wanted

I don't think 30 days is the OFFICIAL lead single of the album as that would've been the US release, not WBU, otherwise don't you think its a bit weird how it was randomly chosen for a US release. So what we are looking at is an All About Tonight followed by a what do you take me for, and hopefully followed by a kiss the stars which had a bit of longevity and reached #5 on ITunes (#8 officially) to revive the album, like Pixie did for a while before she gave up on the album.

I think that they should do Notorious style promotion and that kind of promo helped it stay up for a while in the top 100 before dropping and had modest sales too. That was good managing as it had no airplay and still did well. If they only did that with 30 days and gentleman, they's both be 100+ definite and gentleman may have been at about #7 or #8 by now

Unrelated topic: But has anyone noticed that you can do the cup song from pitch perfect to Gentleman??
