The girls have always been really honest about why people were absent whenever they performed/promoted as a four piece - even with the top-secret reason for frankie going part time they made the effort to explain that they can't tell us what's wrong with her. I find it strange that they would do this 'we're all happy' performance without mentioning her absence. It reminds me scarily of Steps split, two people quit right before the show, no time for discussion nor announcements, they went on stage and pretended everything was fine. Not saying that's what happened but you know...

Pre-christmas week sales were really high even for the tracks at the lower end of the chart, therefore I think it may be possible that is sold that many when out of the top 100, especially the last week when it was at 101. So I'd guess it's sold more than 200k, or at least it's very close and will definitely pass it next week!

I guess they could announce it if they had already decided without going out of their way too much! I guess this means they don't know what their next single is gonna be? Although we all know it's gonna be the way you watch me ;-)

A little of topic but did everyone already know that The Boy Does Nothing is a cover of mambo no. 5? I only just found out!

Top 75!!!! That's great, I wonder if it can stay there for another week?! This will definitely be over 200k eventually. (if not already)

I originally thought it sounded like Price Tag and could more or less sing the words to the tune, but now i've listened to it more it seems really different, it's definitely got a drop of Alesha's old sound in it!

When they announced the original version they also announced there was going to be another 2012 re-release with the seven extra songs that they advertised and then removed from the original. So yeah, when that comes out it will probably push this to platinum.

I have always thought they would've sold more if they didn't spend so much time insulting people/getting into fights at charity events/obsessing about how big they will be in the states and worked a little harder on selling their product. I do like them btw, even though I just had a mini-rant ;)

So happy Alesha is releasing something new, I never understood why she wasn't more successful on the last few attempts! I love the song too, will be downloading this as soon as it's available!

I noticed that they released a physical copy in Germany aha, it didn't even chart there :S I fail to see the point in that little exercise :P

Lose My Mind had an x factor performance, and three others on TV, they gave it a cover, promoted it heavily and there was a physical copy ready to be made but was cancelled at the last minute (<if I remember right :/) Amazon seems to have some lose my mind physicals available now too, for those missing them from the collection XD Although with LMM they did do the promo a month before it was released and then just let it maintain it's position during christmas, maybe with Warzone they will let it get to wherever tomorrow and then maintain/raise it's position in the charts by promoting it in january? ie, a month later? Same thing but backwards.

The more 'happy-go-lucky' (meaning cheesy) pop groups seem to be massive in Australia! Steps for example often charted higher there than here. It doesn't seem too strange to me, I just can't imagine Australian people listening to someone like Adele, it's too slow and moody! (Loving Adele btw, and 1D XD)

That's great! I think it was their most watched show on that channel (not a difficult task :P). This new series should follow their planning/recording/releasing of a new album like this one! Or maybe their first single for eleven years! (But I'm hoping for something form them before that!)

Ahhh so when it said 15+3 it meant 18, makes (a pinch of) sense. Considering they are only a two year old band I would've expected more basically, Rihanna can afford to be chopping physical copied from one or two countries, but I'm so sure The Wanted would've done a lot better releasing it here, in their only real market. On another note I just opened the evening edition of my local paper and saw two pages full of 'The Wanted & Girlfriends In Barbados' photos... so there's the real reason they aren't here promoting this :P

Psht. It sucks that this album is dead (<- 'cos it is, there's no realistic way they can fix this, not even with another headlines-style EP) I wonder if they will learn from their mistakes this time? (or at least their management) and release at the right time, with the right promo. I am a big fan and didn't even know this album existed until it was released, which is ridiculous. They NEED to change their promo tactics!

Aww. I dunno whether it will get into the top-100 on sunday if it hasn't in the midweeks. I don't get why it's flopping so badly. In ASDA/Tesco/Sainsburys it's in their pop sections being prominently promoted. Also it's in the iTunes store being displayed with other top albums in the pop section. Apart from it having a terrible, generic 'remix collection' looking cover there's no reason for such a lack of sales.

Well they are at 15, which is a top twenty despite them spending hardly anything on promo, so that's not too bad! I definitely think they should have made the effort though, they could have gotten a top 10 or even 5 single, and pulled the album up a few positions. Oh well :/ What will this mean for the next single? Will it get a real release or be another one of these 'go download a track off our album and we'll say it's a single' releases do you think?

I see, so even after this week they will still be just under? That's not a problem. I think 200k is inevitable eventually, especially with the next single release, people will go back to download AFU and get it the extra couple of sales it'll need.

Do they really get that much money from Vevo for getting so many views?! Does an artist actually earn anything weekly from having their music on vevo?

I'm wondering if the album will re-enter the top 100 this week, if they're already at 101 then there's a chance that they can climb the couple of positions they need to re-enter, especially when the sales of many christmas albums is going to plummet - and drastically. And AFU re-entering the iTunes (& hopefully UK) top 100 that could give the album the little boost! (If they had a super Twitter promo session and released a little 'what we're up to' vid on youtube and talked about the album this week that would even be enough to climb two points! I think so anyway :P

Well that pretty much guarantees it won't happen with their management being the way they are ;) I do think there's some hope for TWYWM, it's continuously growing on me to the point where it's one of my favourite tracks from the album and it's uber-radio play friendly, so it will get to grow on others too if they promote it enough. Fingers still crossed they save the era.
