  1. Traditionally the biggest countries in Western music were the States and the UK, most countries had no other choice but to embrace how big these two were, explaining why they're more open. Meanwhile the UK had enough big worldwide stars to warrent an award show dedicated exclusively to British acts. Unfortunately in 2024 that was no longer the case as UK acts suffered and were completely dominated by US talent bar Charli XCX and at a push Myles Smith
  2. It's peaked at 2 so far so no
  3. Nah definitely not, pretty sure Adele and Gaga have managed on top of a few others
  4. Assumed Go Your Own Way was doing a little better. Think that and Don't Stop Me Now are the two songs I've been the most unsure about when calculating.
  5. Well done K-Dot! No way Drake is coming back from this EDIT: just noticed Lil Wayne ft. Drake- She Will is new at 151. Maybe he is coming back...
  6. Not a surprise to see it last but I'm just glad Rik got a fair amount of points. Cheers everyone who voted!

I loved GNX so the song choices weren't too bad, though some GKMC or TPAB tracks could've helped elevate it a little more. Of course the highlight was Not Like Us, wouldn't surprise me if the whole point of making him headline was solely to stick it to Aubrey "big as the Super Bowl" Graham
  8. Lovely ACR drop for me. I need to miss more chart shows to avoid a reset :D
  9. The Days will probably be ahead of Pink Pony Club when it's streams are combined. Chappell could well overtake though
  10. The Power of Love by Frankie Goes to Hollywood- 1984, 1993 and 2000, however these were all different remixes

We can now add "Thinkin Bout You", "Money Trees" and "Unstoppable" to the multi platinum songs that didn't reach the top 40

  14. The big impact of the Grammys this year makes a lot of sense, it feels like worldwide mainstream music has been more unified than in the past. All the big hits nominated and performed were big pretty much everywhere and not just America
  15. Unwritten being back is a bit of a surprise. Wonder how well the Ariana version of Save Your Tears is holding up for that to show up
  16. Would love if the Super Bowl was big enough to push Not Like Us into the top 5. In an ideal world it would be number one!

  19. I know no one will vote for it but COME ON RIK MAKE IT TO THE FINALS!!!
  20. Big drop incoming on the official chart then! Wonder if the charts company will also finally get wise to it
  21. Timeless at 7, on for a new/re-peak? Cry For Me at 12 and Sao Paulo at 15
  22. Fairly certain it's to encourage people to listen to the whole album to find the features, if the features are credited from the start fans of those artists will just go straight to that song and skip the rest of the album. Frustrating but very smart
  23. Didn't realise Lovely Day would count. Would've got some decent points from me
  24. I really like Sacrifice, probably in my top 5 Weeknd songs! Take My Breath is pretty good too
  25. All 20 eligible tracks made it in, but only just. "Without A Warning" is at 199
