  1. Starts tomorrow!
  2. 48. Pitbull ft. John Ryan- Fireball (88 points) Writers: Armando C. Perez, John Ryan, Andreas Schuller, Eric Frederic, Joe Spargur, Tom Peyton, Isley Juber Producers: Ricky Reed, Axident, John Ryan, Joe London UK chart peak: 49 (2 weeks in the top 100) Achieved platinum status on 01/11/2024 Top voters: CianS 23, detonate 19, WhoOdyssey 13 Mr. 305/Mr. Worldwide's 2014 party anthem is his 11th and most recent single to go platinum in the UK. Its music video features former YouTube/Vine stars Jenna Marbles, Bart Baker and Brittany Furlan. Featured singer John Ryan is better known for his work as a songwriter, working closely with One Direction and Sabrina Carpenter.
  3. They should have greatest hits and 3 year old+ studio albums on ACR by default, that means their popularity is still reflected but they don't clog up the top 20 and stop newer albums from higher peaks. Top 20 this week with ACR implented: Yungblud Loyle Haim Benson Boone American Heart Sabrina Aitch Charli Tate Noah Kahan Alex Warren Chappell Billie HMHAS Ed tour collection Olivia Guts Addison Pulp SZA SOS Benson Fireworks Malevolence Sam Fender A lot fresher! While yes new albums would still have a hard time the sales would be absolutely miserable if greatest hits were removed altogether.
  4. 49. Lorde- Ribs (87 points) Writers: Ella Yelich-O'Connor, Joel Little Producer: Joel Little UK chart peak: did not chart Platinum status achieved 30/05/2025 Top voters: dandy* 25, Jade 20, rio309 17 "Ribs" was released as a promotional single from Lorde's 2013 debut album Pure Heroine but did not chart. It had TikTok revivals in 2020 and 2025, the latter coinciding with Lorde's return with her current (potentially first number one) album. It charted for the first time in Australia, the US and Ireland (where it reached number 16) this year but just missed out on a UK reset meaning it remains uncharted.
  5. Oasis tour impact will be very big by the looks of it then
  6. 50. Tom Grennan- Found What I've Been Looking For (80 points) Writers: Tom Grennan, Jordan Riley Producer: Charlie Hugall UK chart peak: 82 (4 weeks in the top 100) Achieved platinum status on 09/09/2022 Top voters: Mangø 20, ElectroBoy 18, GreyAsh 16 First released on his EP of the same name in 2017, "Found What I've Been Looking For" would later be featured on Tom's 2018 debut album Lighting Matches. It charted for the first time in October 2018 and peaked in January 2019. It featured on the FIFA 18 soundtrack and it was used as the theme of Super Sunday on Sky Sports from the 2017 season to the 2019 season, replaced by the current theme "Stop This Flame" by Celeste starting in the 2020 season.
  7. 51. Taylor Swift- Don't Blame Me (73 points) Writers: Taylor Swift, Max Martin, Karl Schuster Producers: Max Martin, Shellback UK chart peak: 77 (4 weeks in the top 100) Achieved platinum status on 11/08/2023 Top voters: ...ready for it 25, Maestro 18, AaronTM 13 Track 4 on Reputation was never released as a single but charted for the first time in May 2022 after some TikTok virality. Too bad the "Kate Bush effect" didn't happen a little sooner as it very likely would've been reset and in the top 40. "Don't Blame Me" would go on to be a staple of her Eras Tour in 2023-24. It's fairly unlikely we'll get a Taylor's Version of this now that she owns her masters.
  8. 52. Sub Focus and Dimension- Desire (65 points) Writers: Nicolaas Douwma, Robert Etheridge, Rachel Keen Producers: Sub Focus, Dimension UK chart peak: 51 (9 weeks in the top 100) Achieved platinum status on 27/10/2023 Top voters: danG 24, ElectroBoy 23, Mangø 6 Despite having 7 top 40 hits, "Desire" is the first of Sub Focus' two platinum singles, the other is number 12 single "Tidal Waves" which achieved platinum status 2 months after "Desire". In 2019 it broke a 5.5 year absence from the charts for Sub Focus. He and Dimension would collaborate again multiple times, eventually bagging a top 40 together with "Ready To Fly" in 2023. The producers co-wrote the track with Raye but the vocals are performed by the now in-demand dance vocalist Clementine Douglas.
  9. VOTING IS NOW CLOSED. Thanks to the 29 contributors. Results will start tomorrow (and don't worry, they won't be nearly as quick as round 1's 😁)

+5 Pink Pony Club +4 Die With A Smile +3 Good Luck Babe +2 Ordinary +1 Messy -1 Birds Of A Feather -2 APT -3 Beautiful Things -4 The Days -5 That's So True
  11. Will be worldwide only unfortunately, still cool that they're giving us this! Can't wait for Drake to feature 25+ times Something tells me I need a one dance...
  12. After a proper look at the list I have a lot of cleaning up to do at the lower end for my estimates- I have a 9k gap between 86 and 85 which can't be right
  13. Not a big fan of him but Zach is by far the better artist between him and Alex. That being said I prefer "Ordinary" to "I Remember Everything"
  14. Shame Indigo couldn't make the half-year point. Was half expecting Teenage Dirtbag as its been in and out of the overall streaming chart all year but not this early...
  15. 2 days until closing for those who still wish to vote!
  16. Reset for this please!
  17. @Viper* You've voted for "Fireball" twice, again I assume you want to give it the higher amount of points. Do you want to replace the duplicate?
  18. For reference Wish You The Best also entered at number 3 on Spotify, would've been number 4 officially without the CDs. 49.5k sales got him the number one and 16.5k of those were CDs
  19. Decent impact from Lorde's album! Katseye- Gabriela up to a new peak of 76 so may not have missed top 40
  20. Ah so there's a lot 😂 No telling what will happen on the official YTD from this. Still helpful for estimating the indie/rock/hip hop sales though, thanks for sharing
  21. Which oldies (older than 2024) are in the Spotify YTD but not the OCC YTD? Thanks
  22. Who definitely out this time! The bots need to get back to work... As for what will replace it Another Love seems to be the favourite but I have no estimate for it so can't say for sure.

  24. Good shout actually- 2nd semis will likely happen after next Friday so I'm thinking if there are any other songs certified next week we could have a mini-rate of them to choose a wildcard. Would make it a little bit fairer imo
  25. Thanks- "Ocean Drive" has also gone 2x platinum. Shame "Forever Young" didn't get certified earlier, would've been nice to have that as part of the rate... 437 tracks on the list now.
