Any fan looking at Twitter this morning would be under the impression Loreen was the only one that released her song today. The fan press were clearly eagerly anticipating Loreen's song but ignoring the other 6 songs in the heat isn't professional. It's the strongest heat overall and I wonder if wiwibloggs are part of the international jury like every. other. national. final. Tattoo sounds a little like The Winner Takes It All.

I hope it is Rina but I am not 100% sold on the evidence. I would hope the BBC Eurovision account would drop some hints if it wasn't her as people are getting obsessed with it on Twitter and I worry the rumour mill will leave fans underwhelmed. That is one reason I don't want to get too invested in Rina. It doesn't help that William Lee Adams from wiwibloggs and who now works at BBC World Service is also hyping her as the UK entry. :cry: I have seen some people mention Freya Ridings but I don't really like Weekends or Face in the Crowd and I'm not sure how competitive they would be?

Wet Leg seem like one of those industry darlings that the BBC plays all the time, are huge for one album because the critics hypes it to hell, gets all the awards like they are jelly beans then in 2025 everyone goes "god, remember Wet Leg? They are gonna be hoping the whole 'ironic innuendo' stuff stays cool because it does not make for an enduring career. The same people that said Catfish and the Bottlemen were the second coming of the Strokes when they won Best New Artist or whatever it was called back then. There's lots of indie bands on the circuit who deserve success but cannot afford the PR.

I don't know how true it is but I read people believe the husband of the member in question is fighting for the Russian Armed Forces and there is resistance from Ukraine due to them perceiving that it's 'mocking' Ukrainian language and culture. It's not surprising as there was drama before they won calling for them to be disqualified. Based on the results show it's also believable that the Czechia rep went to bed and forgot to send the details to the EBU. :lol:
