That's what I meant. They might climb to #1 but I doubt a lot of their younger fanbase would buy it on iTunes and the UK mainstream will know them less than other artists so streaming will be a better indicator. SZA wasn't that high on iTunes and we know how that turned out in the end.

Yes when it suits their label. The UK was one of the few countries in Europe that The Loneliest didn't make the top 100 and now they want physical album sales from 1 of the biggest markets. I am not surprised.

The have ignored the UK except when they were asking their fans to buy the CD online but I expect streaming will be a lot better. The CD and Vinyl are low on Amazon but their own store could be higher as these aren't signed.

What is the criteria for nomination/win? Is it Critical Acclaim, Popularity or both? Stormzy's album was liked by the critics but underperformed and Firebabe was propped up from #1 on Amazon Christmas. He is well liked and connected in the industry but that's all :blink:

I agree but I suppose his album isn't favoured by critics which makes it easier for people to have a swipe at him for his Artist of the Year nomination.
