I’d put France, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Slovenia, Belgium, Armenia, Ukraine, Australia at the very least in front of her. I can't even figure out why she has such trouble singing the song... Girl what is your range, like, half an octave? It constantly sounds either too low or too high for her. I don't think it's because she's moving too much - possibly nerves, but possibly also she just has very poor breath support and technique…? I was expecting shaky but not THIS bad at this stage. It’s giving Embers 2021. (She seems really sweet and I love her humor. Feel terrible for her that she's going up there with clearly so little experience singing live.) Let’s not forget another Brit who is performing at the Grand Final and could completely outshine her. I’ll give you a hint… Sam Ryder.

Are you for real? There are many better entries that will deservedly qualify and score higher than her. Her live vocals are appalling.

It’s kind of misleading because it’s not 100% acoustic it’s easy to tell it was recorded in a proper studio then edited.

There is but in the UK it's because of Sam and more importantly he gained substantial goodwill outside the UK while the UK press were telling people the odds were biased and overhyped. His momentum increased every time he performed Space Man because he could actually sing the song and foreigners adored him. I hope they have a backup plan as I genuinely don't see the UK supporting Mae if she does badly.

Eurovisioncast said a big British artist has been booked to perform which suggests there might be interval acts from both the UK and Ukraine. He filmed something for TikTok (a sponsor) related to Eurovision last month as it was on the clapperboard.

It wasn’t that bad. Obvious room for improvement but she was sick. Sam didn’t perform the same version of Space Man twice at these shows it’s possible we won’t know the actual version until rehearsals.

The song is *fine* on it's own merit but it's placed before Croatia in the running order which is not good. Someone on Twitter pointed out since 2004 Ireland have never Q from a position earlier than #8 in the running order. It really does not help that UK and Australia cannot vote for them. Last year the UK gave Brooke 12 televote points. One of their songwriters is Swedish but that isn't going to help them either.

Semi-final 1 is extremely competitive. It's the definition of mediocre and half as anthemic as they think. Middle of the road, safe, and utterly boring. It’s nothing like their discography because they wrote it with Eurovision in mind. There is no UK or Australia to vote for them.

I don't think it's overhyped at all. He's a fun personality and the song is the most televote friendly IMO. It's crazy, it's party and there is nothing else like it. It's been in a lot of the Viral Spotify charts since it won UMK which is a good sign. I don't think it will get the jury support to finish 1st or 2nd overall though.

I really like it. I expect a lot of people will find it relatable.
