I doubt it tbh. It’s been out a few weeks now and had very little exposure or impact on the albums sales. The price reduction might have helped but the actual weekly sales are still declining so this suggests HOTN has helped to slow the decline rather than anything else. The extension release and coverage from audience show should help the album to re-enter the T75 temporarily for a week or two but I don’t think it will be anywhere near gold by the end of this year.

I’ve heard the album. I got the HMV exclusive which included serenity. The album takes a few listens and isn’t as instant as some of their other work. There are some tracks which aren’t great but overall it’s decent.

The NI cut will mean less money for public services and basically reverses the Tories own policy by Johnson of increasing NI to fix social care. As a result, LAs will either have to cut services or increase council tax bills so we’ll all be paying more indirect tax next year. It’s clearly a misguided early election bride but it doesn’t fool me. It makes things more tricky for an incoming labour government as things will be even harder and tax rises will be needed to plug the severe lack in funding for our services.

I can’t believe how expensive the 3cd set is on their website.

I think we’ll get maybe one more single. It feels way too early for a reissue and can’t see that coming until Q4 next year. Vegas high would be a good follow up.

I’m not keen on the remix. It’s quite dull tbh. I would have preferred a 7th heaven remix or similar vibe.

I like windows and this life. Not so fussed about the Mark track but this album feels more low key than any of their others. I’m sure it will reach no1 as sales aren’t high but I think it will get a big drop in week 2.

I quite like this but it still feels too early to hear Xmas songs.

The release strategy for this track is baffling. It feels like they’ve already missed the boat and the song will be largely a missed opportunity. It’s no where to be seen in the charts, airplay and no promotion at present. With Christmas coming up, it will be harder to even get the track in the T75 due to the influx of Christmas songs.

Absolute rubbish. The Bank of England predicted inflation would naturally fall below 5% anyway but food prices are still up by 30% compared to 18 months ago. Inflation has been caused by corporate greed as a result of big companies putting up their prices to inflate profits and the government has done absolutely nothing to address it as usual. Policies such as Brexit have also contributed to price rises as a result of labour shortages and unnecessary red tape making it much harder to trade with the EU.

In your eyes. Far more credible and a better song.

I don’t think the release strategy has changed much since golden. Padam was obviously the label’s biggest success in terms of singles and they went all out with tension first week hoping for continued success. However, the strategy for hold on to now has been similar to the other singles with little thought gone into the campaign. At this stage, they probably know that without major promotion from Kylie, it’s unlikely the singles will do well and she is obviously tied up with vegas.

As others have commented, that is not true. Running is only a leaked track at present.

In fairness, achieving another T40 hit post album was always going to be a big ask. However, the release strategy certainly hasn’t helped. I think whatever is released next is unlikely to do much without any significant promotion or proper release strategy. It’s a shame because HOTN is the best song so far from the album and likely to be overlooked.

Has anyone’s CD been despatched yet?

Christmas seems to get earlier every year. I can’t believe Mariah is already T40 on iTunes and it’s only early November.

The audience isn’t being aired until nearly Christmas and by then the single is likely to be dead in the water unless other major promotion happens. I can’t see this doing well as Kylie isn’t here to promote it and her focus is on vegas.

I can’t see it doing that well. Mostly hardcore fans will buy it. I will download the extended mixes for everything apart from the 3 singles but I really wish this was coming out on CD rather than vinyl which doesn’t interest me.
