Seems like quite a few artists reissuing a physical format this year to compete for the Christmas singles chart. I guess it makes it a bit more exciting but would be good to see some new titles in the charts this year, rather than just the same old tracks every year.

I don’t cast negative on everything so stop exaggerating. Also, please don’t tell me to ‘lighten up’ as it’s comes across as quite dismissive. We are all here for the same reason because we love Kylie, so can we put our differences aside and just respect each others views rather than telling others what they can or can’t post. Nobody is any less of a fan just because we dislike a particular song or album.

I think it’s time for Kylie to move on from tension.

Well I don’t think it’s very good. A couple of ok sounding tracks but not very cohesive at all. Everything on here is opinion, just like yours is an opinion so you don’t need to state the obvious. We can agree to disagree.

It looks that way on here but this is buzzjack where it’s a favourite but I know plenty of Kylie fans off here who don’t rate it.

I would strongly disagree. It’s not a patch on the first part of tension and feels like a collection of B sides with a few ok sounding tracks thrown in for good measure. I’m still wondering if we will get a digital deluxe at some point?!?

Tension is by far the weakest.

Absolutely shocking and how can a child at that age consent properly or even understand the full implications of consensual sex.

Stay another day and it’s alright are their two best tracks.

Shame there is no CD. What a poor reissue!

Lower album sales are more the norm these days and there are other artists like Katy Perry who are doing far worse than Kylie. If you look at the album charts, it’s the way the market is going sadly. Rag n Bone man released a new album on same week as Kylie and reached no2, but his album fell out of the T75 the week after.

A lot of albums are suffering similar fate to tension II by big drops from no1. It’s just the current state of the market and way things are going. My concern is whether in the long run this will impact on artists releasing fewer albums as record companies continue to see their profits dwindle. You only have to look at the release schedule for Q4 this year to see it’s one of the worst ever in terms of lack of any major releases.

10/10 is dreadful track Edge of Saturday night is the strongest

This reminds me of a cross between underneath the tree and all I want for Christmas is you. I preferred her first Christmas song as it sounded more original but I have a feeling this one might do better.

Not one of my favourites but the junior Vasquez remix really elevates the song!

I’m not surprised it’s out of the T40 already tbh. There has been virtually no promotion in the U.K. and sadly none of the singles have made much of an impact to date. Tension 2 was always going to be a harder sell particularly to the general public - 9 new tracks and 4 fairly average collaborations.

Without a doubt, Tension is far stronger and more cohesive than Tension II.

Not sure about this…neither dizzy or the new song has grabbed my attention.

I don’t think tension 2 is great neither but we could have ended up with just 2-3 new tracks on a deluxe but in fact we’ve got 9 new tracks instead and 4 collabs. Some of the tracks have grown on me and while it’s not as good as the first installment of tension, it’s just great Kylie is continuing to release more music.
