It should have been released instead of Celebration. Far better song. I like it.

I would expect Tension to be her highest selling BMG album to date in week 1 and in total really. I would predict over 60k. Disco did incredibly well considering we were in lockdown at the time and this should do better on the back of the success of padam padam but it will also depend on the reaction to single 2.

I like it but it’s certainly not as good or credible as any of the singles from rhythm of love. It did feel like a step back but it’s not a bad song but not one of her strongest.

I can’t see it dropping much and will probably stay in similar position or climb slightly next week.

I like hold onto now and prefer it to padam. Her voice sounds better on it and it’s a good pop song. I’m intrigued to see how this will perform but can’t see it doing as well as padam.

I think it will be a non-mover this week in the uk. It’s no7 in first midweeks but likely to drop later in the week after receiving a boost from the remix. Hopefully will stay T10.

Not really, the reissue includes bonus tracks like nothing can stop us and if you don’t love me and it would fit well with those and dangerous game on the original album.

Love this track but none of the remixes are any good. Wish they had just done an extended mix and included this on the CD single.

Don’t think this is as good as the recent stuff from her last album.

Deffo one of the more stronger tracks from the album.

I remember being disappointed with the chart run at the time. I thought it might go T10 after entering at no11 and was disappointed with the big drop. However, as others have said it was released at a time when Kylie wasn’t popular and this was largely overlooked but since then seems to have developed a keen following. Not sure why it was never included on the first Decon album.

Would love an Aphrodite reissue one day with unreleased material. Still one of her strongest Parlophone era albums!

Just out of interest, do we know who has done the other remixes? I downloaded the Jax Jones remix today. It’s not bad tbh. Would love the remixes to be available on Cd single though.

Don’t think twice is better than praising you but lacks the magic from her bigger hits. I can’t see this making much of an impact.

Looks like the Girl reissue is vinyl only from Dannii’s twitter post. A CD singles box set would be amazing though.

I like Claire and think she has a great voice. Her first solo album was quite good but after listening to I surrender I don’t think I’ll be buying this album. The original by Celine is great but I don’t like Claire’s version. I’m disappointed the songs will all be covers.

It sounded better than a lot of songs on kiss me once.

To be fair, there hasn’t been much promotion for vulgar yet and no video neither so that doesn’t help. It’s almost like they’ve given up on the track already.

Love the clip of the until dawn remix but wish there was a radio edit of the trousers remix.
