  1. I think it will be in a similar position between 9-7.
  2. It’s not one of my favourite Kylie songs and don’t think it sounds great live to be honest. Started listening to hold onto now and it’s more instant and typical Kylie track but don’t think it will perform anywhere near as well. I’m hoping we get an extended mix of hold onto now.
  3. Both tracks are complete rubbish and don’t appeal to lifelong fans like myself.

You need to read up properly on corporate greed as it’s been a big feature in many business magazines over the past year. Corporate greed is a major problem at the current time. It has been well known for some time that companies are still increasing prices for some goods despite the fact their own costs have either stabilised or fallen. Supermarkets also failing to pass on savings on fuel despite the price falling.
  5. Cheers, it sounds quite good tbh but didn’t think it was Ellis Bextor.
  6. The album lacked obvious singles apart from into the blue. I don’t think any other songs would have done well at all to be fair.

The mortgage rate increases are unfair in many ways and will have a very detrimental impact on the economy in the longer run. There will be a big rise in repossessions and bankruptcies alongside people who have a mortgage having less disposable income to spend in an already weak economy. However, this government seem to be completely failing to address the actual causes of inflation - what about the impact of Brexit and all these big greedy companies like supermarkets, Amazon and energy companies who have put up their prices well above cost increases?
  8. Is this Sophie Ellis Bextor or another Sophie? It doesn’t sound like her on paradise but she did a track called hypnotise.
  9. Slow is a very inventive and amazing song. It’s a big grower. I remember hearing it at first and took quite a few listens but it’s totally different to the rest of the sound on the album. Never been keen on red blooded women though. I really like loving days - big highlight and would have fitted in well with her Decon era sound.
  10. Let’s hope it gets a new peak this week. No7 is highest position padam has been in early first look chart.
  11. I don’t think chocolate was a great single choice. Certainly, the album lacked obvious singles choices compared to Fever though.
  12. Received my copy but wish we could be the one had been included as a bonus track.
  13. I disagree about the 3 singles - secret take you home should have been a single instead of chocolate. It’s a standout track on the album and god knows why it was overlooked.
  14. The video is appalling and demonstrates the Tories didn’t take Covid seriously at all and that’s been a general theme throughout the pandemic. No wonder we ended up with so many deaths as a result. It’s gross incompetence.
  15. Will be interesting to see where Kylie would have been without the cassette sales. Clearly, the track is still building in terms of its streaming popularity.
  16. Never expected it to achieve T10 like many people so I guess T5 is possible if streaming sales continue to increase and a further format is released to boost sales.
  17. Does the three products mean at any one time or over the life of the song? The cassette format is limited so eventually that will have no impact on sales.
  18. Nobody really knows whether an alternative government would have handled the pandemic any better but you are missing the point that Johnston was found guilty by the Covid committee of knowingly misleading parliament. His actions were highly reckless at a time when he was supposed to be serving our countries best interests. The problem was the government clearly didn’t follow the rules so what kind of example does that set to the general public? Furthermore, the Covid committee report highlighted a number of factors that impacted on the governments ineffective response to the pandemic such as lack of testing, delaying lockdown and austerity. While I agree with you that the government had to a large extent no control over the pandemic outbreak, if their response has been better like other countries such as New Zealand then we would have ended up with far fewer deaths so there are clearly many lessons to be learned from the event.
  19. The record company really need to push this release by adding a vinyl release and remixes CD. Fans will always support these releases and it will give the nudge it needs to go T10.
  20. I got an email stating due to high demand, they have added extra cassettes for sale to the store. This sounds positive but we’ll obviously have to wait for impact on official chart placing.
  21. Well Johnston has finally been exposed as a calculating and very manipulative liar. I always knew he was full of baloney - the smirk on his face and body language said it all when he was asked on camera if he had lied to parliament. He has not only lied and misled the country about Covid but also many other issues including Brexit. His actions were highly reckless and disingenuous particularly to all the families who have lost loved ones from covid. I cannot see how he can return to politics in any shape or form as he has shown no remorse and his actions warrant nothing other than expulsion from his party.
  22. #13 today with 11,280 sales. #12 has 11,303 sales (23 sales higher) and #10 has 11,911 sales (631 sales higher).
  23. Padam is no12 in todays midweeks - it has fallen from yesterdays no10 position as I predicted and would be surprised if it returns to T10 unless the cassettes bundle makes a difference.
  24. But Kylie’s ended up lower pretty much every week in official chart than compared to the first look chart. Not sure how much the cassettes format will add in terms of sales but would be great to be proved wrong and see it increase its chart position again!
