New single being played on Zoe ball tomorrow at 8:55am called breaking the circle!

Has anyone else heard the two bonus tracks on the deluxe cd? Bit disappointed. They certainly aren’t as good as the other tracks and not sure worth buying the deluxe for these!

Really liking the sound from this new era. Both let it die and like a saviour are good and more like the stuff from delirium than her last album.

I don’t know about that but it’s hardly a justification for supporting it. As others have said, she doesn’t need to do it and has released successful albums before.

The staffing issues in schools, the NHS and public sector have all been caused by the same issues right across the board. Unfortunately, since the Tories have been in power we have seen significant cuts to many services and a real terms pay cut for staff. At the same time, workloads have increased particularly since the pandemic causing high levels of stress and burnout. Many experienced workers have left but it has been difficult to replace these staff and Brexit has made it much harder to recruit workers from abroad. I cannot see any short term solutions to this crisis as it will take time to recruit and train new doctors / nurses / social workers / teachers and in addition, these career choices are seen by many as being unattractive due to the combination of low pay, poor working conditions and high stress / burnout rates.

I think you have misunderstood what I was saying. I was trying to say that Ava’s album is miles better than Taylor Swift but sadly won’t get the recognition it deserves. It’s also without any vile explicit lyrics which seems to have become common place these days but doesn’t add anything and is totally unnecessary.

It’s likely to be a mixture of factors including the impact of the war in Ukraine but Brexit is a big part of the problem and this is something the Tories don’t want to acknowledge for obvious reasons. Brexit has caused a massive shortage in labour and skills in certain areas resulting in higher prices and many businesses have faced substantial red tape resulting in difficulties trading within the EU resulting in also higher trading costs and lower taxable profits for businesses. I also read a report today that many universities have seen their research funding from the EU slashed virtually to nothing and numbers of EU students coming to study in the UK have plummeted since Brexit. All of this is bad news for the UK economy and cannot be blamed on the war in Ukraine like the Tories would like us to all believe.

Hasn’t she just said there is a deluxe edition coming soon? The label must have some faith in her if they’re going to re-release the album.

No11 is better than I was expecting to be honest given zero promotion. It’s a good album and shame it won’t get recognised when you have the likes of Taylor Swift releasing stuff which isn’t half as good in my view and full of explicit lyrics.

Very good album. Bought the deluxe edition in HMV today which includes 2 bonus tracks. I think it’s limited edition because it sold out quickly in store.

I used to love buying CD singles especially if they included a bonus track or remix. However, I haven’t bought one in quite a few years. I know select artists release them but most of them are 1 track singles which don’t interest me. I am only interested in additional content to the main song. I think the CD singles market today is very different to when they were the in thing and it’s mainly a collectible item.

What I don’t understand is why he wasn’t suspended when the allegations first came to light. Anyone else in a professional capacity such as a nurse, doctor or social worker would be suspended if a serious allegation came to light while an investigation took place. MPs seem to be immune from this process but the reality is they are still professionals who are in positions of trust so it seems once again one rule for them and one for us.

I’m not a big fan of fever. I’d rather have light years part 2 or Aphrodite part 2. Fever as an album is very overhyped and certainly not her best album by far.

I’ve got a ticket for Manchester. Never seen her before but always wanted to so super excited. Never thought I’d get the opportunity so can’t wait.

Madonna’s last really solid album was confessions. MDNA was weak. Rebel heart was better but very mixed. Madame x is probably the most consistent but I don’t like her voice on some of the tracks. I feel Madonna has lost her way. She used to set the trends but now appears to be regurgitating old themes and she just looks so bizarre. Trying to dress, look and behave like someone half her age. It’s like she is not accepting of the fact she is getting older and this doesn’t send out a good message. Please bring back the old Madonna who released a great song rather than working on collaborations with people like Nikki Minaj which end up being under average songs. Kylie in comparison has released two excellent studio albums on a new label and continues to grow as an artist. She looks her age and doesn’t try to be something she isn’t.

Any news on when the deluxe edition reissues will start to roll out?

Like others have said,, this is a pretty good album. Some great bops and many tracks are just as strong as the singles. The only negative thing I would say is the tracks feel quite short and could have been longer. Bring on the deluxe edition!

This has overtaken Sam Smith and is no1 on iTunes now. A great album too.

I’m interested in this release. I like all the singles but wish it was out a bit sooner!

I got his last album and liked it but not connecting with anything from this era so far so unlikely to buy this.

Well her new song sounds better than anything she has done since phoenix.

That’s your opinion - I think Mel C’s solo material is far better and more credible than most of the material released by the Spice Girls.

I’ll be getting this next week but kinda curious about when the deluxe edition will be out.

I wasn’t overtly keen when I first heard it but it’s grown on me. Certainly more credible than most of the stuff on kiss me once which was over processed in comparison.
