  1. Confide in me was an iconic moment. In some ways, it was a very risky release as it was such a change to her PWL music. It’s up there with being one of her best tracks and one of her most underrated no2s.
  2. 1. Dance alone 2. Midnight ride 3. My oh my 4. Edge of Saturday night

Hopefully better than the last two tracks and more like the material from the last album!
  4. There has still not been any official confirmation about the reissue tracklist and all the links for the 23rd August release were only showing the tracklist for the deluxe edition. If we are getting a reissue, I would expect some kind of announcement in the next 4-5 weeks which will tie in with a Q4 release. However, it really feels like all the momentum has completely gone from this era now and as much as I would love a handful of new tracks, I’m not sure it will generate much interest apart from the core fan base.
  5. Very 80s sounding. Love it!
  6. 1. On a night like this 2. A second to midnight 3. Midnight ride 4. Night fever 5. Marry the night 6. Edge of Saturday night
  7. I’m not really feeling the vibe with edge of Saturday night. It just feels a bit empty and not something I would want to return to again. Unlike the majority of the tension album which was far catchier.
  8. 07 End Of An Era 08 Houdini 10 Training Season 10 These Walls 07 Whatcha Doing 07 French Exit 07 Illusion 09 Falling Forever 06 Anything For Love 06 Maria 08 Happy For You
  9. Wouldn’t change a thing was unlucky to not reach no1. Gosh the videos posted look dated now but it’s still a great track.
  10. I prefer woman’s world to lifetimes. It sounds dated.
  11. Hoping for a CD release maybe in Q4? One can dream I guess!
  12. Everything was right about spinning around so it was the ideal comeback song.
  13. Aphrodite is still one of my favourite Kylie albums. It’s a solid performance throughout featuring the epic ‘All the lovers’ single and I absolutely adore the cover. My big regret was that the record label didn’t push the album a lot harder. There was also talk of a potential reissue of the album at the time which never saw the light of day.
  14. The edge of Saturday night has already been confirmed as a single from the blessed Madonna’s album so it may just be a stand alone release and not part of the tension reissue project if it even see’s the light of day.
  15. I stopped listening to the charts about ten years ago. I remember in the 80s and 90s, the charts used to be exciting seeing who was number one every week and where your favourite track ranked. Nowadays, things are a lot more predictable and the charts just appear boring and stale due to lack of movement and tracks hanging around for weeks on end. Overall, the quality of music just isn’t as good or appealing as it used to be.
  16. I would like reissues on CD of both Kylie Minogue and Inpossible Princess. I know there was a planned reissue for first Decon album several years ago but it never saw the light of day. Hopefully, one day both will be reissued again with additional content.
  17. HMV have listed two different variants of the CD. One is an exclusive edition. Apart from a different cover, does anyone know if it will include additional tracks? HMV recently did something similar with One Republic’s album resulting in one of the CDs being a deluxe edition with 3 extra tracks.
  18. Even with a reissue, tension is highly unlikely to sell more than disco. The odds are already heavily stacked against it - The reissue of disco didn’t sell much and at the time of the reissue, disco had already surpassed the current sales of tension. My oh my hasn’t made much of an impact to date and it’s divided a lot of people. The album seems to have died to death quite a while ago so it will really take something like another Padam single to kick start the album in a big way. I suspect it will only be hard core fans on forums like this who will invest in a reissue with a handful of new tracks and 1-2 weeks extra chart life is probably the best we can expect.
  19. Lifetimes sounds ok but not up there with her earlier stuff but certainly better than the singles from smile and witness with the exception of chained to the rhythm.
  20. Her standard / deluxe albums are not usually limited. The disco reissue was not limited neither.
  21. I’d be surprised if it was limited. Why would they want to limit the sales? It doesn’t make any sense tbh.
  22. Fairly decent tracklist for the reissue and worth buying. Not a fan of the remixes of the singles we’ve heard so far.
  23. So the albums out, what are your reactions? Overall, there are some nice tracks, of the new songs artificial paradise, stargazing and hurt are best. It’s more consistent than human but doesn’t quite reach the highs of some tracks on human apart from I don’t wanna wait.

Neither will set the charts on fire exactly but I think Kylie will peak higher.
  25. I didn’t like the reworked versions on Odyssey. They ruined the original songs. I’d prefer a new greatest hits with original songs but only exception being Greatest Day remix.
