that wouldn't surprise me one bit! around 97 Oasis were doing massive drugs hence "be here now" known as the cocaine album.

Songs that were expected to be #1, but weren't
Oasis - Stand by me in 1997 was a dead cert for #1 untill Elton john "candle in the wind" was released after dianas death. Oasis - songbird in 2003 was #1 all the way in midweeks by a few thousand but saturday sales were a disadvantage for oasis... they ended up #3.
-
Boyzone - Love You Anyway
i would agree with you... HOWEVER there's a differents between changing direction to good or bad... and this is just an awfull change
-
Boyzone - Love You Anyway
if music like this appeals to more people than Oasis's new single... God help the country.

Noel Gallagher assaulted in Toronto!!!
Oasis' Noel Gallagher was attacked by a fan at the V Festival at Toronto Island Park last night (September 7). While the band were playing 'Morning Glory', midway through the band's headline set at the festival, a fan rushed the stage from the side viewing area and attempted to attack the guitarist. Globeandmail.com reports that the intruder was apprehended by security guards and later charged with assault. The attack resulted in a brief interlude in Oasis' set, before they returned to play six further songs including 'Don't Look back In Anger', 'Wonderwall', and their set-closing cover of The Beatles' 'I Am The Walrus'. nme.com Liam Gallagher went after him :cheer: but security held him away... it looked like LIam was ready to kick the $h!t out of him..what a f***ing t*** that guy was :puke2:
