its an awfull song LOOOOOL this is got to be U2's worst lead single ....its really bad

some good news!! a new b-side is going to be released with it! so this could fare well as it has new material unlike just a remix

no no falling down was a REMIX by the chemical brothers! ;) that was the b-side,.... this is the album version :)

'Falling Down', highlighted by reviewers as one of the best tracks on their latest album, the track will be released as a single on Monday 9th March (8th March digitally). The Noel Gallagher-sung track is taken from Oasis 7th studio album 'Dig Out Your Soul' which went straight to number one in the UK and top 5 in the US on its release last October. The video for 'Falling Down' will receive its premiere on Channel 4 on 3rd February at 11.35pm (E4 9pm) and was directed by WIZ with whom the band have worked in the past. ---- :cheer: Its a good strong single... :heart: :heart:

why not they are always on bloody tv,, getting massive promo from xfactor and other tv programs. Oasis sold 500k with pretty minimal promo.... even the airplay has been poor for this album. so Oasis have done very well if you ask me...

It was a good year for Elbow #35 with sales of 325k for them is a massive success by their standards :)... i was pretty unsure if the would clear 150k but 325k is great !

ever since 12memories back in 2003 Travis have been selling less and less with each album... Though it must be said the album had no promotion whats so ever!! I think they are just in it for the joy of making music now,, they dont seem to care about selling much records.

ban Xfactor from the whole f***ing chart regardless wether its xmas or not! its just pollutes the chart

actually i thought it was 17days ;) but it makes sense that it was 11days as its 7th days say sale was 813,000. i dont think DOYS will hit a million we shall see it probably will hover around 600k-700k mark for a bit. glad you bought the album ... it definitely has a twist a few songs that are pretty un oasis like (to be where theres life,soldier on, get off your high horse lady) but for me falling down is immense 3rd single BTW ;) also the turning,bag it up,waiting for the rapture are songs that have that be here now vibe (Which i think is a great album ).

its funny really.. i mean the single is very good ,,, but by the looks of things people are buying the album instead of the single. sales are up from last week again for the album which is good to know..

it is a flop for sure,,, 63k in total after 2 singles, good airplay! and this is the highest time for sales!! just face it sugababes fans ,, the album is a flop and it will take a miracle to redeem it now.

1.Oasis dig out your soul (not saying this coz im an Oasis fan but its by far the most underrated album of the year!) 2.Keane perfect symmetry 3. Elbow- the seldom seen kid 4.Snow patrol - A Hundred Million Suns 5.The verve - Forth well these are the albums i listen to most anyway...

i'm not bothered at all... I keep saying and i will say it again :) THE album is more importnant than singles!!! i would rather have an album be #1 and shift 400,000+ in little over 9weeks then have a single at #1 and the album can't even clear 100,000.

Im pretty sure the record company believes that's not so.. sure it's sales but these sales are not what you would see for an album only out for just under 8weeks! at a high sales time,, with good promo,airplay etc

well atleast hasn't fallen out of the top100... the thing that people should be concerned about is its the xmas period,, and if they are doing around 5k-7k weekly then what would they do when it was a normal sales period?? 1k-2k

not looking good at all for the album. 08-26-38-52-66-69-91 sold 5,767copies at #91 :s (even though the new single is picking up airplay!!!!!!) weekly sales exact (except week5) week 1 23,123 (8) week 2 10,270 (26) week 3 6,891 (38) week 4 5,051 (52) week 5 ~4k-5k (66) week 6 7,103(69) week 7 5,767 (91) Total so far = around 63,000 not good especially as this is a period where sales are genrally high! and they have a new single getting spins on the radio can we call this a FLOP?? The bargain bins will be filled up with this album very soon mark my words! ;)

nearly all of Oasis albums in that list !!!! great... it makes me so proud to see "be here now" #1 with 696,000 (even though it was released on a thursday!) those are only 3days of sales.

well be here now by Oasis did very well around the world.. it has sold over 7million copies globally.

it is but not as incredible as Oasis's first week sale ;)
