I think steps have got this in the bag... and im sure those sales which included pre tickets are included... As it was a full budgeted album they were selling, while adding the pre-sale tickets.

Noel gallagher will thrash steps's projected 30k this week.... I can see steps probably dropping to #4 next week behind Noel,matt and adele.

apparently the sales so far for steps are 70% physical and 30% Downloads/digital mind you 30% seems pretty big,.. this might be down to the lack of stock at amazon, and retail store.

Yep Noel should have pretty big sales next week... Like you said BDI did 67k first week with only 1 real single that did anything. BTW Noel's album is now at #55 and #86 compared to Matt #58 (only)

steps sold 441 copies more than Evanescence yesterday.

pretty sure evanescence will lose the race for the #1 album this week... still can't believe steps are challenging for #1?? thought no one would care about them.

We will have to wait and see tomorrow where steps are in the tuesday mids.. here is how it's doing online #1 iTunes #27 Play.com #3 and #38 Amazon #13 HMV depends how much these actually contribute to there cumulative sales. But It should go top5 surely?

anyone reckon steps can go to #1? in the albums chart this week? if they can do atleast 40k I would say they have a good chance...but that might be too much for them to do?

I wouldn't rule out... Noel Gallagher stopping Matt from going to #1 in the album.

don't underestimate Noels album... He apparently has 3 times as much pre-oders than his younger brothers band beady eye had back in FEB when they sold 66k first week. Noel will easily do 100K+ and will 100% be top2

Noel gallagher will make a strong debut after monday's mids. #18 combined on itunes #1 Amazon CD #6 Amazon mp3 and not to forget the official website which has the Vinyl and Cd which will be very strong plus they are doing a nice bundle cd+download+Vinly don't be shocked guys to see this go top 10 first day or even top5!?
