  1. Yeah Scotty it was the Viva interview from last year. I think it was German if I remember correctly. I'm trying to find it on my computer. I'll upload it for you when I do. **edit** oh hell, I can't find it on my computer. I can swear I had it, but I can't find it now. What I remember clear as day from that viva interview was that he said there was lots coming out next year (2007), too much ;) ... whatever that means and who knows it might have been scrapped and rearranged by now.
  2. TBH, I'd rather not have that visual
  3. In the crib
  4. If they had said he was moving back to the UK to live with his mother it would be more believable  Looks like those bucket loads of salt will come in handy
  5. Not sure about the radio interview but I think he said on that Viva uncut interview or whatever it was called. The one where he wore that black track top and looked all sleepy lol. I can swear I remember him saying it was done and that he enjoyed doing it. I do wonder when he found the time to record it as he was on tour much of that year but I suppose he could have done it before the tour started.
  6. Assuming this bit of 'news' is even true, it did only focus on the next album, meaning an RW original, so the swing album may still be coming out. It will probably be released around October the way all his albums are. By the way Rob spoke about the swing album last year I'd think he already had it done. I think I remember him saying he enjoyed making it. Plus, if its in the contract I don't think he can scrap it unless EMI agreed and considering it would be a huge cash cow for them I don't see them doing that.
  7. I can't say I'm all too excited about this. As the article makes it out, Guy would just be writing with Rob and produced by someone else. I somehow can never see Guy just writing a song and not producing it. Plus that list of producers supposedly working on this album are the same that worked on Rudebox, don't know if I can see Rob working with all the same producers on the next one. Aside from Feel, all the other songs on Escapology that Guy and Rob worked on fell A LOT short, I thought. Guy was too domineering and controlling and while that worked in the early days, it started to have the opposite effect as was so obvious with Escapology. Guy tried to hold Rob back because, as I see it, he was threatened by Rob's new found confidence which was very evident during the recording of Escapology. Now unless Guy changed completely since then I can't see it gelling all that much. Maybe for a song or two but even that, on the whole, I wouldn't want Rob to go and revisit that. Guy was very stifling for Rob creatively, trying to keep him in that 'box'. Since the split Rob has not only grown personally and become more confident, he's grown leaps professionally/creatively as well and become more confident as a songwriter - thank god for Stephen Duffy - I would not want him to compromise that or lose that edge, just to appeal to some segment of the fanbase. In all honesty, I'd much rather Rob work with Guy on the swing album than his own.
  8. I've said this elsewhere ..... they're just setting him up to fail wrapped in a nice Greatest Briton package. Its still doesn't make sense to me why even put him in the Greatest Briton category and not the music one. If its based on sales for last year Elton John shouldn't be in there. The Sun .... wolves in sheep's clothing :arrr: And TT performing ..... well if there's a camera turned on anywhere it'd be shocking if they WOULDN'T appear
  9. LOL is she sure they didn't say Robin Williams  None the less, I will be setting my vcr :D Thanks for the heads up dazzleland B)
  10. Whatever Rob says at any time is always seen as whinging, moaning, complaining, etc etc etc .... blah blah blah  Its how the British press want to peg him as and they will never change their tune. Same as them always pegging him as lonely
  11. Oh I don't think the public has forgotten that he is the best entertainer. The concert tickets will always sell. Its when it comes to buying his albums that they crawl under some rocks somewhere  You mean late 2006 Scotty, right ???
  12. more recycled c**p ?! he was studying spells and all that but it was around the time IC was out and when he was recording it. Oh the desperation for a story ...... ain't pretty -_- I think they need to insert this  at the end of that sentence. Maybe they can have a play date with his dogs as well

  14. yeah that's our boy
  15. I don't have direct tv so I can't watch it, but I think I've seen Rob's part. I remember seeing a clip online of Rob's interview. Was he wearing a black baseball cap and track top ?? He looked adorable
  16. Yeah I saw myself in the stands in a couple of them  :yahoo: and that's my hand and arm in the second clip and picture LOL
  17. The Iowa pictures and video clips are now up :cheer: Hopefully there will be more to come :D
  18. It is absolutely amazing how well this song has done and just imagine what would have been if there would actually be promo for it. I'm still not particularly crazy about the song but still in love with the video Its never been my favourite but I have warmed to it the more I've listened to it. I love the lyrics though ... classic Robbie B) and I must say its heaps better than Lovelight or atleast I like it much more than Lovelight. That song never really did anything for me although the vocal is great and all that but it never really grabbed me and that video turned me off the song even more. I think the Robbie wax figure in madame tussaud's looks better than the real one in that video  As for the worst song, absolutely positively - Northern Town. I never thought there would be an RW song that I would dislike so much but this one takes the prize. Its just awful.
  19. Its completely pathetic, resorting to digging up his blog entries from last year. To say they're desperate for a story would be an understatement and ofcourse to further add to negative opinions about Rob which is why they chose to print that particular blog entry. They had lots of entries to choose from last year but ofcourse they don't quote any of the other 'harmless' ones
  20. Personally I wouldn't mind some hip hop Robbie style but I'll believe it when I hear it. Tripping was described as a reggae song  or the whole album that turned out to be IC was described that way LOL
  21. well along with the braindead readers of the Sun and Mirror are the dingbats, Vicky and the 3am Bitches ... its not even a recent video  So now the readers with an IQ of a flea, will think that he's gone completely bonkers after rehab
  22. I don't think any more singles should be released but if there were to be, my choice is Viva Life On Mars, I think that song would do very well. I was torn between that and The Actor, which I absolutely adore, such a brilliant song but I don't think it would go over well as a single. I agree Keep On is another brilliant one - I personally love it - but I don't think it would do well.
  23. Oh I didn't say you were being disrespectful about them but I just generally don't understand why people need to precede any comments made about TT with - and I'm not having a dig at them or having to think they need to justify their feelings when saying something about them. Everyone has a right to their opinion and if someone doesn't like any particular one then they can go on their way. It just seems to me that the TT fans get too easily offended and so people walk on egg shells not wanting to offend or upset them. Honestly I don't get it. I guess we Robbie fans have thicker skins and don't get offended too easily - and with everything being said about Rob by press and fans alone we would have every right to. There is a difference between not liking or disagreeing with what's being said and taking it personally. I think that's where the TT fans go overboard, every little remotely negative thing said about 'the boys' is taken as a personal attack  As for Rob going back to TT  That's not even a question. I think it can safely be said that he has no intention of going back. I'm sure he's got much better things to do with his time and his career for that matter.
  24. well I don't see the need to hide. Worse things have been said about Rob by people that actually called themselves fans and they didn't hide or apologize for their views, I don't see why someone thinks they have to tread on egg shells when its something that may be perceived as negative towards TT. But it seems people tend to start apologizing for their opinion of the boys or anything to do with them, if they think it might be taken negatively. About Barlow and the boys, well guess he finally got what he wanted and gained 3 back up singers  ... seeing as there is lots of money to made at the moment, I doubt the boys would do anything to jeopardize the cash fall even if they do feel Barlow taking over. Don't bite the hand that feeds you ;)
