I remember reading somewhere a little while back that they're in the process of working out what they'll be offering for this year so no one will be charged until they sort that out ... whenever that will be ;) I'm renewing anyways so it doesn't really effect me either way.

Unlike some people I don't lie. And as I recall I did pay you for your ticket. Not that I have to justify anything, and especially not to you ... I did enjoy the gig. That doesn't mean I didn't find it tacky, cheap, low class etc etc. And yes if you took all the smoke and mirrors, fire, water, half naked dancing girls away they'd be dead boring and which is why they need that extra fluff as filler because without it they don't have much of anything interesting to hold an audience and entertain them. I also like Vegas shows, and while some are tacky as well, they are much classier than anything TT had last year :puke: :puke2: and having heard Beautiful World they'll need a lot more filler this year to keep people from snoring.

He looks great aside from those jeans. I don't think they're in the least bit flattering on him. The coat looks great though and so do the trainers

Yeah TT are good with all the special effects and half naked dancing girls that make Vegas shows look classy :rolleyes: Take all that away and there really wouldn't be anything there that wouldn't put arenas and stadiums to sleep. If all the 'extras' were taken away they'd be a dead bore.

I just hope all the c**p being talked about Rob ends now. Well I'm well pissed off at the Sky News 'bulletin'. Is it surprising ? No. The British media is absolutely disgusting in how they're treating Rob. They're trying to end his career and what upsets me is that, they do influence people's thoughts and opinions and them going on about how Rob's career is over, this that and the other, slagging him off gets stuck in people's heads, they start to believe it and slowly it turns people against him, for no good reason, if it hasn't already. I've never seen the press be so hell bent in ruining someone's career and reputation as they've been doing with Rob :angry:

I completely agree, Sing When You're Winning is one of his best albums. It was my very first Robbie album and I only bought it because I liked Rock DJ and decided to give the album a chance instead of buying the single and boy was I amazed. Better Man is one of the best songs ever. That's the song that pushed me over the edge and made me a fan, along with Singing For The Lonely, By All Mean Necessary etc etc. I'd say my all time favourite Robbie album would be I've Been Expecting You. I always listen to that one without skipping any tracks. When you look at all of Rob's albums he's the only artist that's consistently written quality songs, as you say TessaT, songs of real substance. Usually with artists the more albums they put out the weaker they get but with Rob he gets stronger with every new album and that's a rarity in the music industry.

Eminem would be a much better collaboration, yeah, but 50 Cent I don't know, could be interesting and it may actually be good. I wouldn't hold my breath though, seems they're just recycling what Rob said in the Big Issue interview. Must be a slow news day when they're using old quotes to make it look like a new story :rolleyes:

Everything considered Top 15 is absolutely amazing and I'd be very happy with that. I didn't think it would get to Top 20 so Top 15 is like having it number 1 :P At this time, for a Robbie single, from the Rudebox album that's had absolutely no promotion, Top 15 if beyond impressive

If any other artist tried to release Rudebox, they would have it released and it would have more probably than not been a huge success with every critic and newspaper, magazine and tabloid claiming it to be the best since sliced bread, brilliant, a tour de force but because it was a Robbie Williams album it got slated just because it was Robbie Williams, the panning of this album had nothing to do with the actual album and music on it but rather the artist it was by. Whether some UK fans will like to admit or not, the fact is the UK has not been kind to Rob, especially not in recent years and even more so in recent months. They do have something against him and are on a mission to bring him down at any cost which is why the press has been digging into him and him checking into rehab was the best news they could have heard, they were probably waiting for something like that for 10 years and so the knives really came out and they weren't taking any prisoners. They dug into him well and good and only eased up a bit now when he got out. Sales figures in the UK have been slipping and so that only points to the fact that his home country is cooling off to him and basically want to push him out. Shame, because he is one of, if not, THE best things the UK has and they should be proud of him instead of tearing him down. He is a rarity in the music industry. There is no one like him. He is a complete original, an extremely talented lyricist, songwriter, can do any genre of music and do it well, has the charisma, personality and looks plus is an amazing live performer. All that should be celebrated instead of slated. Atleast he's got the rest of Europe who recognize the true talent that he is and do celebrate it. As for the best for Robbie, none of us and you included are in a position to comment on what's best for him as we don't know him and we are absolutely not in the position to comment on his friends, how many true friends he has or hasn't got etc etc .... We don't know Rob, we don't know how many close friends he has, how many distant friends he has, how many acquaintances he has, so what gives you or anyone else the right to comment on that ?! You have made assumptions based on what you see in the media and we all know there's only one angle the press has when it comes to Rob and it is anything but favourable. They have him pegged as a certain character - arrogant, egotistic etc etc - and sadly lots of people believe that and take it as gospel. They accomplished the same with Rudebox the album, they influenced people's decisions with their comments and people believed it without even hearing the album and giving it a chance.

Aren't those lilac stripes on the shirt he's wearing in the pics Scotty posted ? :P I personally love a man in pink and one that isn't afraid to wear pink Plus he looks great in pink .... But then Rob looks good in any colour :wub:

I feared that as well, that now they will hound him even more than before. They're like bees on honey its maddening. There should be some kind of law of how close they can get, I mean they're right in his face :angry: complete insanity. He handles waaay better than I would.

He does look good in the last two but just too thin. I hope he starts eating normally now that he's home. Just looked closer .... not Hyde again :rolleyes:

And the papers also said he was in the Meadows :rolleyes: a bunch of idiots those 'journalists'. I agree, I think he should do an interview, something very public and set the record straight. Parky would be a very good place but he can also just do a video message for RW.com viewable to everyone not just IS members. If the Sentinel is correct in what Sally said then I am very glad that he left that place. Being in a harsh environment can make a person worse off than they are and wouldn't help him in getting well. So if he did leave early, good on him. He has a good head on his shoulders and has good instincts and judgement, I'm sure he's done himself a load of good in coming home I think he handled it the right way in being out and about. A good firm slap to all the c**p press.

Does the press ever listen to anything coming from Rob objectively ?? I think that's a resounding NO :rolleyes: Their needle is firmly stuck on - it Robbie Williams it must be c**p - and has been for a while :angry:

Its the same old, mention Rob's name and get yourself a write up. Simon must be in desperate need for attention :rolleyes:

I like her as well and I agree, I think she and Rob would be very good together. She has a good mouth on her, very clever smart girl ... must be why she and Rob get on well.

Yeah, he'll need more rehab if he does. All that is, is Barlow shooting off his mouth - yet again - and fueling the press - yet again. In light of recent events - Robbie being in rehab - making any comment about him performing anywhere is just a plain stupid thing to say. At this point they should not be commenting on anything to do with Robbie, they've said it all a gizillion times already. All they end up doing now is just repeating themselves over and over and over ..... :rolleyes: They need to find another way to keep the press talking about them without using the Robbie card.

The girl with the big mouth finally said something sensible. A nice read for a change and she made some good points.
