  1. Me too and that Sweet Caroline duet with Jonny is absolutely hilarious :D They're both dorks ... lovable dorks but still dorks and just like the rest of us the only words they know is the Sweet Caroline pom pom pom bits :P Love those lyrics of that song he was singing, they're very him aren't they ?! Just hope we get to hear it. Oh and how funny is he in that Munich clip, getting all gangsta
  2. You have to click the arrows on the right hand side where the writing is and you should see it change on the phone screen to Better Man.
  3. Ain't nothing wrong with experimentation but must we be subjected to it ? :P All I have to say is .... if ears can bleed and skin can crawl :puke:
  4. LOL I already have a headache, do I really want to hear this ??! ;) Good thing I can't hear a thing at work ... will save the nightmare for when I get home :P Indian singing ordinarily makes my skin itch so not looking forward to this ....
  5. Well you know, use him when they need to, dump him when they don't
  6. As long as he doesn't ask Celine Dion to sing with him :P Let's just hope, if this is true, that tickets will actually be sold and not competition only.
  7. First off the song I most highly dislike is Northern Town that must be the worst song Rob's ever done. Chemical Devotion is absolutely a great song, I loved it first listen so my vote goes for it. Don't think it belongs as a Bside its that good. (I Feel It) But I Can't Explain also love this song especially the break towards the end - brilliant. 1974 another one I love as well, great great song. And rounding out in order would be Please Please and The Postcard. Isn't Do Me Now missing from this list ?? That's another one of my faves
  8. Oh this one's tough, some great songs there. Don't Say No for me, love that song !!!! Closely followed by Bag Full Of Silly, Overture To Berlin, Our Love. Meet The Stars is ok as is Family Coach and Twist I really don't care for.
  9. Rob has said it himself in various interviews last year, that there will be a Swing album out this year so no surprise there. And the way I understood him there will also be an original album out. The way he said it, there will be lots out this year, now whether he's changed his mind on that or not who knows but he did say there will be too much. I just hope he'll do something like the RAH one off with the swing album :cheer:
  10. There's a couple of things I don't get... Yes, I've read on various sites fans saying they won't buy the single because there are no Bsides. Sorry, but I don't get that reasoning just because that even though we've had bsides on the other singles, most people usually downloaded the bside off the net waaaay before the actual single release so what exactly motivated them to buy the single then and not now ?! I also don't get why they've put 3 remixes of Never Touch That Switch and 3 remixes of She's Madonna. I'm not a big fan of remixes to begin with but even to the people that do like them, I think one of each would be more than enough. He's got so many songs, surely one of them is good enough to release as a bside. I get a feeling that he just can't be bothered and if that is the case then I'd rather not have anymore songs released. Sin charted, I think at number 22. I'd be shocked if She's Madonna charted the same or even at 20. He's really giving the press all the ammunition they need  Not surprising at all that the song is doing better outside the UK, the way the attitude is toward him in England at the moment, I don't think he'd do well with any song, even one that's a total masterpiece. Regarding Bongo, wasn't that to be released in France ??? And he's said various times that Bongo was a song he'd heard a few years back and really liked it and wanted to cover it because he thought it was a very Robbie song. Just like all the covers on the album, he only recorded them because its the songs he's personally loved and not part of some master plan.
  11. Oh I agree, I think its one of Rob's best albums and I absolutely love it and have been playing it since it was released and I'm not tired of it yet. I haven't seen it as a flop either, how many flops reach number 1 ?! But I was referring to some of the press seeing Rudebox as a dud and the attitude towards Rob at the moment is not positive to say the least which is why I think he should just leave it be and even promotion at this point don't think would help. I couldn't care less about sales and chart positions, I absolutely adore Rudebox.
  12. There are 17 tracks on Rudebox which is longer than a standard album. I think IC (with 12 tracks) had 2 LPs so Rudebox having 3 would make sense.
  13. With the attitude towards Rob at the moment, I don't think any promotion he'd do would help Rudebox at this point and instead just be seen as a desperate attempt at resuscitating something that was dead on arrival in many people's eyes. I just think he should leave it be and move on which as Tessa says that's what Rob does and I hope he does it here. If Lovelight didn't do anything, I can't see She's Madonna, especially paired with the video, making any dents whatsoever.
  14. You've got a point there. He's not wearing the hat and all the latest pictures are of him with that cap on so it could very well be an old picture and a very bad angle, not to mention that its an extreme close up under not very favourable conditions.
  15. Awww what's with the face  That looks like the face he does in the She's Madonna video when he's performing and gets heckled.
  16. I'd say they're on the bigger side, they're very generously cut. I got my usual size and its pretty roomy, unlike some of their Tshirts
  17. Exactly, he leaves it open to interpretation and that is why I love this video. Its a piece of twisted genius in disguise So smartly put together and well done, with so many layers to it. Ofcourse some will only see Robbie in drag and not look beyond that, but that's their loss.
  18. Ok I may be way off here, but to me she looks like that Indian actress from Big Brother. I think she was evicted and is claiming she suffered racial abuse or whatever. Most probably not her but she looks alot like her to me. And I wish he'd stop with the peace signs  Enough already !!!! Ughhh that just gets on my last nerve.
  19. I got the black Rudebox hoody with the boom box on it and I absolutely LOVE IT !!!!!! Its very well made and looks fab definitely worth getting. Plus its super warm, it like an oven LOL and I've gotten lots of compliments on it so its all good :D
  20. Oh you must see it with the sound, the best part is what he's saying. You'll love it even more then :D I love it as well. Its absolutely brilliant I'm even beginning to like the song more :P
  21. I agree, there's something about the way he looks in that drag. I'm loving him in that get up, there's a certain vulnerability in his eyes.
  22. An awards show that's fixed ? :o now what are the chances of that ..... Now that you mention it, I wouldn't put it past them. That's like American Idol, yeah the public vote really determines who wins  All I have to say is its a good thing that Best Live Act is a public vote, atleast he has a bigger chance of winning, otherwise it'd be a certain for George Michael.
  23. Yeah I'll take the Robbie in the dress over the one in the white suit :P Good to see him doing dress up again, he hasn't done it in a while Can't wait to see that video !!!!
  24. Considering its for a full year, I don't think 25 quid is all that much. I don't understand why people are so on him for charging for his site. He's not the only artist out there that earns a hell of a lot and still charges for their website. Madonna has enough money to feed a small nation and she charges for her website, so does George Michael, so does U2 etc etc. If it'd be only Rob charging for his website I'd say how dare he, but he's not the only one doing it and just personally IMHO compared with George Michael's website and merchandise, RW.com is phenomenal
  25. Yes Rob should get an award and I want the Brits to give him one because they think he deserves it and not because they want him to show up. I don't think he should do it as it all will be turned around by the press and will be a bit demeaning I think. I don't even think he should perform with them either. They finished as a fourpiece, that's the way they wanted it, they didn't want Rob then so why do they want him now ?! Is it because they really miss him and love him as they say or is it because he's the big successful star that he is. Funny how there was no love and they didn't miss him when he was a mess and lying in gutters. Now they want him back, ofcourse it will make them look better and the nice guys that they are to say how much they love and miss him and want him back. If he'd be the same mess he was when they kicked him out, or not the successful star that he is I doubt they'd be so quick to want him joining them. Some say it would show that he's sorry and humble him in the public's eye, in the press or whatever, but why exactly does he need to be humbled ?? I get a sense that some fans have still not forgiven him for 'abandoning' the band and its almost as if they are a bit bitter and resent that he's made it as big as he has, as if they want him to apologize for his success. I simply don't get that mentality. And why does he have to be sorry or show that he's sorry. He's apologized, he's met up with them and as far as we know they've all made their peace with each other, Rob's been nothing but complimentary about them so what is it that he has to be sorry for ?? I do wonder what it will take for people to get off his back with this sorry thing and humbling thing. Do they want him to grovel, get on his knees and beg for forgiveness ? will that do it ? I think he should stay away from the Brits all together win or not. I'd hope he would have better people to spend Valentine's Day with. :P
