  1. LET ROBBIE ENTERTAIN YOU HOBOS

THE ghosts of Christmas past, present and future must have paid Robbie Williams a visit, because the grumpy Scrooge is spending Christmas feeding the homeless.

The terminally cheesed-off warbler will join America’s largest soup kitchen and shelter on LA’s impoverished Skid Row.

While his fellow multimillionaires roast their chestnuts on burning bank notes, Robbie will be serving festive food to

hungry hobos alongside the fat-hearted volunteers of the Union Rescue Mission.

The former Take That chubster was touched when his chef pal Raymond Terry took him to the charity house on San Pedro Street.

So Robbie, 33, volunteered his services for today, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Raymond said: “If it’s better to give than to receive, then this is the most satisfying way to spend Christmas.

“Robbie does an awful lot of charity work. And this is really close to his heart.

“Everybody I’ve taken to Skid Row is moved to tears. And the homeless people there are a lot of fun.

    Hard

“People have a lot of misconceptions about them but many of them are intelligent, kind people who have simply fallen on hard times.

“We have to remember that while we’re all tucking into our Christmas dinners, there are people starving and freezing to death out there.” That might not be the most cheerful thought to have over our sprouts but Robbie has taken a great deal from the world and wants to give something back.

Our Tinseltown tramp said: “Most of the guys over here don’t really know who Robbie is. But there’s a lot of excitement in the air, because they’ve been told he’s a big pop star in Europe.”

And the impossibly kind popster is taking his guitar along, too.

Our source added: “He’s planning on performing Christmas carols to everybody there after the meal.”

Oh come on now Robbie, haven’t they suffered enough?

  2. After hearing that Robbie Williams took the same trip on his recent tour stop in Dubai, we knew we'd made a good move. If it's good enough for the prince of pop...

Ughhh those damn tabloids, can't they do their research ................ Its King of Pop not prince :P

Spice Girls set to replace Robbie?

EXCLUSIVE by ANDREI HARMSWORTH - Wednesday, December 19, 2007

Ginger, Scary, Sporty, Baby and Posh set for an EMI take over? The Spice Girls are on the brink of replacing Robbie Williams at EMI as part of a new multi-million pound album deal, Metro.co.uk can reveal.

Insiders at the record label plan an audacious move for the girls to record new material.

It comes just days after rumours the label is set to ditch Robbie Williams because his music is failing to sell.   :arrr:

Company bosses now want to sign a different international act which can pull in the cash.

The whole deal rests on the success of the Spice tour, which has already been dogged by rumours of b**ch fighting between the band.

A record company insider said: 'EMI has more than 2,000 artists and as one of the labels biggest stars Robbie represents more than one percent of the group's review. Last year it was far less than that - massively.'

Williams had a disastrous year in 2007 letting it all hang out in Amsterdam and fading into the shadows of former band Take That.

His highest chart position missed the top 10 with 'She's Madonna' limping in at number 11 - one chart position that won't make 'good business sense' to EMI and one that doesn't bode well for a renewed contract.

'Now one deal that does make good commercial sense is a Spice Girls album deal depending on how the tour goes,'the source revealed.

While a spokeswoman for EMI would not comment on the label's relationship with Williams, the source revealed the new Spice album is just round the corner.

Reports that Williams' five year relationship with the label was in tatters came after his manager, Tim Clark, said last weekend: 'I would be very wary about signing him to any major label at the moment,' saying 'all options' were on the table once he finishes his two last obligated albums.'

Williams signed to the label in 2002, in a record breaking six album deal worth £80 million.

PR guru Max Clifford said: 'The Spice Girls popularity is about curiosity and nostalgia but it will only last so long.

'Touring wise they are great. Recording wise they have been terrible.'

Clifford says a new deal is a gamble: 'They must have record success to secure the deal. I would say it's a big gamble for any record company.

'The failure of their charity single speaks volumes. The next single has to be a massive hit or it's the end.

'A figure on a potential deal would be hard but they need a number one.'

Emi added: 'We don't ever talk about artist negotiations or the terms of their contracts.'

    :arrr: :arrr: :arrr: :arrr:

What a load of bollocks on so many levels.

Are they completely off their rockers ?!

Friggin' idiots completely contradicted themselves

What I really don't get and its p***ing me off is - why not just say that he took the year - 2007 - off instead of twisting it into his career tanking

Interesting how they say She's Madonna limped in at number 11 yet don't mention TT's single - I'd Wait For Life - crawling in at number 17.

So Rob's contract will be up with 2 more album and then most likely he will not resign with EMI ............ I can just see the British press now, saying that EMI dropped him instead of saying that Rob didn't want to resign with them. You know they'll twist it around somehow to make him look the worst for it.

  4. From News of the Screws. Can't find this story online so I'll have to type it up. <_<

Multi-millionare pop star Robbie Williams gave a stranger a cigarette- then demanded 12p for it.

The freshly bearded singer was Christmas shopping with actor pal Max Beasley in LA. And when the man approached the greying star  asking for a cigarette Robbie, 33, reluctantly agreed.

But as he was driving off Robbie realised the man who took the ciggie was a paparazzo photographer. The singer flipped and demanded the paltry payment. An onlooker said 'Robbie went completely mad and was cursing at the photographer. He yelled at him to come up to the car. That's when Robbie demanded a quarter. It was most bizarre.'

    <_<

He should have just decked the guy instead ............ or actually he should have asked for more than a quarter

  5. They're certainly better than Mess Me Up and Lonestar Rising!

    You forgot Northern Town :puke2:

I like both Breaking America and In and Out of Love but Breaking America wins out. That's a brilliant song. Reminds me of Radio. The lyrics aren't Ivor Novello worthy but they're hilarious, the song is catchy and has a great sound to it. I loved it on first listen

In and Out of Love took some listens to like. At first couple of listens I wasn't at all crazy about it but having listened to it on my iPod and actually being able to decipher some of the words, I really like it - aside from the your precious heart bit - blehhh, can't stand the way he says it, but otherwise I love the disco feel to it. I'd love to see Rob do the hustle to that song

Its just great to have 2 brand new songs. Nice little gift from our Robert

  6. He looks really good imo, much better than in Amsterdam. Perhaps his beard has been trimmed a bit

And he was in the Grove in LA, I was therewhen I was in LA nearly 2 months ago (can't believe it's been so long ago already :o )

Yeah isn't the Grove the most beautiful place ?

I was there too, sadly a few months longer than 2 months ago, and I shopped at the same Abercrombie & Fitch that Rob was at

He looks great in these new pictures. I'm even starting to like the beard LOL

Its nice to see his eyes and hair again

  7. Yeah, he looks good. The beard really suits him now

I just googled his name to find any other new pics, and my god my blood is boiling with all these TT article I have come accross. The headlines are just so bloody f***ing annoying. I won't post up the silly articles but such headlines as "Take That slams the door on Robbie Williams re-entry bid", going onto state Gary has refused to LET Rob back into the band, another one is "TT tell Rob to forget comeback", "Robbie left out in the cold" - I am so bloody sick and tired of this $h!t. It is just unbelievable how these pure lies are being spread and such huge volumes of people are buying it. Go onto any other forum, or newspaper comments page, and they are all full up of anti-Rob remarks, saying how TT have made the right decision and how Robbie will only be remembered for Angels, and how TT are bigger etc. Can you believe how ignorant people are and how they just simply do not have the first clue what they are talking about? It is just so annoying to have to constantly read this c**p when we know it simply could'nt be further from the truth. I just do not get what Rob has done to deserve all this disgusting hatred from people.

Absolutely agree with you. Makes my blood boil reading some of the comments on those stories to see how much hate there is for Rob and how these stupid people are buying what they read hook, line and sinker  and all that hate is coming from TT fans yet they will swear up and down how much love there is for Rob among TT fans. Makes me :puke2:

I still don't get why Mark would say something so nasty. He may have said it as a joke but if he'd care about Rob and knowing full well how the press is angling the whole Rob vs TT thing, it was just very mean spirited. And what annoys me even more is that the TT fans jumping to his defense with the 'Rob has said meaner things' too line. Yeah Rob has said mean things in the past but never about Mark that's why a comment like that coming from Mark is just spiteful and rude. If a friend said something like that publicly about me, even if they were joking, I would be very upset. Not a very friendly thing to say and the press is loving every minute of it.

  8. What annoys me is this. We all know there is no way on God's Earth Robbie would consider re-joining TT. Robbie knows that. TT know that.

But rather than TT saying that, they spin it so that it seems they are the ones blocking his return.

Exactly and that is what pisses me off. Barlow could have said it in a different way but ofcourse make him and the rest of them into the good guys and Rob again into the bad one. How nice of them to offer him a spot, after he 'walked out' on them the first time and he refused to join them

As for Mark's comment, whether he said it as a joke or not it was a very stupid and spiteful thing to say. Just plain nasty especially when Rob has been VERY nice to him over the years. He knows full well how the media is playing all the Robbie vs TT thing and by him saying that he has fuelled it even more. I mean if it'd come from Barlow or the others it wouldn't really sting that much but as he is known as the 'nice' one well ofcourse the press would jump all over it. It just all makes Rob look bad and he knows it, they all know the media well enough to know how they word things makes the world of difference. I guess be thankful for what Barlow did say .... FINALLY, but what a way to stir things up.

Is something not going well for them ?? Did they need extra publicity ?? Oh yeah that's right their calendar is not selling well

  9. Ok getting back on track people

Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, Robbie Williams for ticket overhaul?

Bands lobby to get cut of ticket resales

    05.Dec.07 1:21pm

    http://www.nme.com/news/arctic-monkeys/32965

Representatives for bands including Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys and Robbie Williams are lobbying for their bands to receive royalties from tickets that are sold on after initially being bought.

Industry figures have formed a new group, the Resale Rights Society, which aims to have artists earna cut of tickets sales from auction sites and ticket exchange websites.

Marc Marot of the organisation told Reuters: "There are not only real issues of consumer protection here, it is unacceptable that not a penny of the estimated 200 million pounds is returned to the investors in the live music industry."

However, representatives from sites that benefit from ticket resales have hit back at the organisation.

Eric Baker of ticket resale site Viagogo said: "What they are saying here is no different to [saying] that if you had a used Ford car you should pay Ford a tax when you sold it."

I get the whole scalping thing and those ticket brokers and others should pay the artist some percentage when they resell the tickets for 10 times its face value ..... BUT, if for example, I buy tickets to a concert and then can't go, I want to sell them for the price I bought them for, I don't think I'd be doing anything wrong and so don't think I should be made to pay the artist a percentage for reselling them.

I think they should only go after those that re sell tickets over the face value.

  10. Robfan in answer to your 2nd part of your post. I believe from my understanding that NMS wanted Robbie to agree to read a letter he would write to him.

I think I recall something like that being reported.

Yes I think you're right Susie, he wanted to write a letter that he then wanted Rob to read.

That piece of scum must be on crack. The sheer nerve of even suggesting it ..... that bitter old fart !!!

  11. Does this ever end......

    Hopefully it will now.

I still want to slowly torture that piece of $h!t.

I then said I would accept him giving me a written undertaking to read a letter I would have written setting out my thoughts on everything that had happened. But he refused once again.

What exactly does that mean ??

  12. Robfan I suspect that the press knew about Ayda for a while, just like we did, and a common ground was agreed between PR's and the press. Which we know does go on, the star needs the press, the press need the star, but shake hands on occasions.

Yes deals are made between stars and press but the press usually lays off if its something that can have negative effects such as revealing a star's sexuality or health issues etc. I can't see the press making deals on a girlfriend issue. That's their bread and butter and especially so with Rob and any woman associated with him. I doubt Rob would even care enough to make deals with the press regarding that. Its not like its anything negative so why would he care if they wrote about it. The only deal I can see being made is them going on a publicity trip to Amsterdam and inviting the press.

  13. I think knowing Robbie if he wasn't happy there is no way she would be around this long. He would have easily moved along to the next casual shag by now. I just think they are being very guarded...which is fine by me. Some of these celebs are all over each other for attention half the time. The fact that they aren't really flaunting themsleves in the medias face and have tried to keep it private for this long makes me think its the real thing. :cheer:....and I am thrilled if you can't tell :yahoo: .

Oh I'm not saying that they're not in a relationship or that Rob has been unhappy for however long they've been together. I agree, if he wasn't happy with her then she wouldn't be around now. I was referring to the pictures from Amsterdam, he doesn't exactly look happy in any of them. And no I don't see him smiling to the paps waiting for them at the hotel when they went to their car but there are lots of pictures where by all intentions he didn't know he was being photographed, more candid shots, and he still looks miserable.

About keeping it private -- They haven't exactly tried to keep it private though and that's what baffles me about the press and why they only bit now, when Rob and Ayda were in Amsterdam and not all the other times that they've been seen out together. Personally, I find that VERY odd. They've been at the Vale games together, and OK one can say the press weren't there. That's a fair assessment. But they were at the Ronson gig with lots of pictures of them hand in hand and it didn't make a ripple in the press. Same for the Barneys pictures. The press bit but not anything really. The beard got more attention in those pics than him being seen with Ayda. That makes me wonder why the press jumped on this recent outing. And what baffles me even more is The Sun mentioning that they were at the Ronson gig but when the pics came out right after the gig nothing appeared in any tabloids.

  14. And another Sun article ............. a nice one :o

    The Sun

They're really turning into Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Its overall nice but they have managed to squeeze a little well disguised dig.

And really sorry, but I can't see why he would introduce Ayda to Barlow and Mark Owen of all people

Well then again it may have happened, not exactly how the Sun makes it sound though. They make it sound like a special introduction, if anything else they were probably at the same event where Rob and Ayda were and its just good manners to introduce the person you're with when you meet someone.

  15. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/woman/article524765.ece

But how can they tell? He's wearing a big padded anorak....

    Exactly.

They're such friggin' idiots. How can they show him in a tight tshirt and a puffy jacket and say that he's gained weight ?! Atleast compare like with like. Show him in a puffy jacket from like a year ago and in a puffy jacket now, then compare.

They write the c**p just for the sake of writing it

I don't even get why they went on this whole - Robbie's gained weight - tangent to begin with. All they have are pictures of him in a puffy jacket. He'll always be fat to the stupid craploids. Its the old standby, they have nothing else to write about so just say that he's fat

  16. In this pic, he looks like he is leading a gang in a film or something

    http://i12.tinypic.com/6t0c3h0.jpg

And in this, he is having an argument, and about to pull out a gun

    http://a823.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/25/l_f1cbc44e855d595592fc09cc18484076.jpg

I wonder who those guys are with them.

If you notice the guy in the hat in the first picture is standing and talking to Rob in the second. And they guys are also in the shop where Rob is wearing the cap.

  17. No it's not...idiots.

No its not, but funny how the press never noticed before.

There have been several pictures of them together, yet the press ignored it. I can just see Rob saying, lets go to Europe and see if they bite ..... and they did hook, line and sinker.

Call me crazy but I think this trip and outings was very carefully arranged ;)

  18. Although I'm more concerned about the distressed animal the girlfriend has plonked on her napper

He does look better in that photo by the way. ;)

LOL Jupiter .......... distressed animal

Maybe they're on their way to Siberia. With that hat she'd definitely blend in
