LOL Scotty, I think you've been reading my mind. I was just thinking that same thing a few days back, if IC is boring I don't know what you'd call Beautiful World ... maybe dead on arrival :P In comparison IC is a masterpiece and the most exciting album ever made. I did want to give Beautiful World a fighting chance and made myself listen to it 3 times straight and I'd say by mid 2nd time around I was about to slash my wrists. Its definitely not to my taste and I much prefer TT's older songs. I too have called IC a bit boring especially after listening to Rudebox but even if IC is called boring by some its still high quality boring whereas IMO Beautiful World isn't. The other day I listened to IC from start to finish again - I haven't since Rudebox came out - and I have to say that is one great album. Its a bit down beat but now that I've listened to it properly again, I wouldn't call it boring in the least. Its absolutely VERY different to Rob's all other albums and ofcourse Rudebox but its quality quality quality all the way In regard to the sales of Beautiful World, I don't think its because bland sells better, IMO anything would sell loads and loads just because its Take That and they've got that nostalgia thing going for them big time since the reunion tour. I also think its because some fans and media have the mentality of well its Take That its automatically good. I'm pretty certain, had it been a Robbie album it would be called BORING and unimaginative and definitely wouldn't sell that much. But TT are the IT of the moment and good for them they've definitely worked their bums off for it.

Well I'm certainly not a LIMEY and I 'got' all the lyrics :D How can anyone not remember British Knights or Troop tracksuits ?! They made the 80s just like big hair and off the shoulder tshirts :P Absolutely love this song. The lyrics are pure genius
