Bloody hell, now I feel OLD. My first Madonna actual purchase was the Like A Prayer single. However, I already had the Like A Virgin and True Blue vinyl`s given to me for previous Christmases. :cry:

What`s happened? :huh: She has completely disappeared off the itunes chart with the new single.

I read about that, although, I heard it was a bonus track on the deluxe album.

Its a shame she couldn't have released this separately late last year leading up to the film`s release. I think it is a strong Madonna ballad and should have had its chance to shine. It could have helped promote the film too. Although, at the moment we don't know how the strong the other tracks on the new album are, there could be better single potential on there. I am really pleased it is included on the album though.

You are right, looking on livepopbars its #10, but #11 on my actual itunes application. Still pretty impressive.

Yeah, I agree with that in terms of the live audio. It will be interesting to see how Warner will market the box set and at what price they it will be. I also agree it is unlikely there will be any new tracks on this set, but who knows what will happen in the future. Warner are sitting on a gold mine owning her back catalogue.

This is good new for her newer audience, I am amazed by the amount of people getting interested in her for the first time. Hopefully, the set will be suitably priced so new fans can further discover her music. :)

Well she is storming the itunes chart in the uk, occupying the #1 and #2 position. If the single had been released earlier, I think it would have been a bigger hit. The single release was released too close to the album and it seems people just held out for the album.

I love Borderline! I remember when I heard the song for the first time, when my cousin played me Madonna`s first album. Being a kid, I had no idea Like A Virgin was her 2nd album. :unsure: It was my cousin`s favourite Madonna song at the point and she rightly predicted it would be successful if she re-released it in the UK. Loved this performance of the song and I love how she breathes new life in her older work for a new audience. :)

The album and possibly the single have now peaked in the UK. Maybe if she did more promotion she could peak higher. Although, she cant be everywhere at once. The single definitely deserved to be top 10 though.

Christina and over singing kind of goes hand in hand, i agree. Apparently, she dividing opinions everywhere over this tribute. I suppose her heart was in the right place.

It was a bit random and I also sensed that Celine somehow knows Madonna from that statement. To be fair, I cant honestly remember Celine ever saying anything negative about anyone ever. She is a class act.

I like Kelly, so looking forward to that as well. I also agree, Celine as a Legend. It just seemed an odd comment to make initially. The statement was very complimentary though.

According to her official Vevo account she still is. The remix of `Elephant` is copy-write of 2012 Simco Limited. Apparently, its a joint deal with RCA, but she hasn't completely left Syco as reported. I really liked `Earthquake`, definitely a highlight from last year, I look forward to hearing his album.

Mourners give a standing ovation for her touching rendition of `At Last` and she thanked Etta for her giving her inspiration. To be fair, she did good job, her vocals were raw and full of emotion. Thank god she remembered the words.

Its a shame the One Direction fans have set their sights on the best single award. I actually think Olly`s single is much better.

That`s is a great song and he was a musical genius to be fair.
