Keaton Simons Releases Highly Anticipated New Tracks "Lift M
Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Keaton Simons is releasing two highly anticipated new singles. As featured on the TeenNick series Hollywood Heights, Simons' powerful, blues-drenched track "Lift Me Up" has just been released, and the compelling, enigmatic single "Other Side" will be available everywhere November 13th. Simons has worked with such notable acts as Gnarls Barkley, Black Eyed Peas, Jason Mraz, Hanson and Snoop Dogg among others, and has opened for Coldplay, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar and Train. Simons' songs have been heard in dozens of feature films and television shows, including NCIS, Numb3rs, Malcolm in the Middle, Crash, and now the hit TeenNick show, Hollywood Heights. Simons has also produced music with Mikal Blue (Colbie Caillat, One Republic), The Matrix (Avril Lavigne, Liz Phair) and David Bianco (Tom Petty, Bob Dylan). "Other Side" and "Lift Me Up" showcase Simon's depth and richness of artistry - similar to legendary songwriters like John Lennon and Bob Dylan combined with bluesy, masterful guitar playing reminiscent of early Eric Clapton and an unmistakable, soulful voice that evokes vocal greats like Ray Charles. Simons has released albums both independently and through major labels, most recently 2008's Can You Hear Me on CBS Records. As 2012 comes to a close, Simons prepares to take to the road to showcase his abundant collection of tunes, and putting the final touches on a new studio album (co-produced by Mikal Blue, who has also worked with Colbie Caillat and One Republic) for 2013. "...a 'triple threat.' He can write compelling songs, sing with a distinctive, soulful voice and play guitar with skill and ferocity. He sounds like a polished pro, not a raw newcomer, with enough sound and charisma to fill an arena." ~ The Los Angeles Times. Simon Wright - drums for AC/DC '83 - '89, DIO, UFO, Rhino Bucket. "What a great band!! They've got something special happening. And Nobody Dies is the song that grabbed me. Mark Evans - Bass for AC/DC '72 - '77, Heaven, Contraband, Tice and Evans. http://www.reverbnation.com/harmonicgenerator ...... The video was shot in Marseille France by Jam City Productions. The actors in order are Manon Bacquiat, The Band, The Fans, Quentin Barthes-Villegas and Alex Roussel. Live shots are the full band of Harmonic Generator with Quentin on vocals, Alex on Drums, Nico Helinger on bass, Charl Roussel on guitar, Renaud Satre on guitar and some serious rock fans from the south of France. C'est vous. Biography Originating from the south of France, Harmonic Generator is a five piece, firebrand, heavy rock outfit. Starting their career in their teen years, performing concerts of original rock songs in their homeland, the band set sail for Australia where, in 2011, they picked up management, recorded their first studio single 'Dead On The Ground' and toured downunder with fantastic results. Upon the band's return to Marseille, their year of international experience had brought home a new, 'hard edged' sound to their continually growing 'HG' fanbase, building their reputation as a band to watch. In 2012 Harmonic Generator returned to Australia, via a short tour in the UK, and recorded 10 tracks with world renowned producer Mark Opitz and fellow producer, Colin Wynne, in Melbourne. This new producer / artist arrangement created an immediate chemistry that lead to a significant directional change. The first six tracks took a similar line to the band's youth. Four on the floor rock. But it's what followed that had the bands genre excitingly evolve. Emerging from Thirty Mill Studio with a further four tracks that morphed into far heavier, far darker, far more compelling sound, best described as a cross between old school 70's heavy rock and today's metal. After completing a second successful tour of Australia, the band returned to France, continuing live performance and preparing for the release of their debut video single 'Nobody Dies'.

Francis Bowie releases new single!
Earlier this year Francis Bowie were proclaiming his "Intelligent Pop Music" with the " Francis Bowie EP ". The critics were extremely positive about this new act and his ideas. Francis Bowie is also an artist and has been running several art galleries in Copenhagen, Denmark. Now the single ART ZOO is out and the electro pop vibes has been replaced by a more solid rock n roll feel. ART ZOO probably will get someone to think of New Order and Joy Division, still this young songwriter has his very unique and original way of expressing himself. The single is produced with a new producer team and that might the reason for the change in his sound. Enjoy listening ! "This is the brand new - Art Zoo uh uh"

No.1 Pop Band Starts Franchising – It's a Global First!
It's the first time an internationally known pop band has cloned itself. The band can now be seen performing on the same night in two different continents and with two different line-ups. Franchising has existed for over a century and currently employs over 10 million people in the USA alone. However, the approach has never been used by the persona focused artist industry – until now. It is pan-European act Rednex, infamous for the party classic Cotton Eye Joe, which has launched a duplicate with a license to perform in both Australia and New Zealand. The franchising deal was sealed by radio DJ and industry personality, Jason Beaumont, who has set up an office in Auckland with the mission to explore the entertainment scene down under. To kick-start this landmark event Rednex has released a new single and video, ambiguously titled 'The End'. The flowumentary** style video sparked a lot of media attention during the recording, with Hungarian tabloid Blikk reporting Rednex “Street-partying with some opaque locals in the ghetto of Budapest”. The video features the original Rednex line-up but will be promoted in Australia and New Zealand by the new franchise group. The video can be viewed here – “The general guidelines are provided by the Rednex owners overseas, but it is my company that deals with all the local action. In over 20 years in the industry, this is by far the most thrilling project I’ve been involved in. It is without parallel,” says franchisee Jason Beaumont, who has worked as a radio DJ at RadioLIVE and music producer for Amber Stassi. It was during his time as a DJ that he became a fan of Rednex, so much so that he even got tattooed with the band’s logo. “Rednex has been trying to piece together the franchise puzzle for some time, and when Jason came along we knew we were good to go,” says Rednex co-owner Pat Reiniz. “It's an industry first and it's not like pioneering comes with a barrel full of templates. But if it proves promising then we will start looking towards USA and India where we've scored Top 10 hits but rarely had time to ever tour.” Due to the huge distances and an already busy schedule of 50 to 100 gigs a year – almost all in Europe – Rednex has never performed in New Zealand and not visited Australia since 1995. But now the cloned version of the band could well give the thirsty partygoers down under a run for their bucks. Rednex rose to fame in 1994. Cotton Eye Joe was followed by two more European Top 10 hits. In 2000, they spent a further nine weeks at No.1 on the German singles chart making them the longest serving No.1 artist in Germany for 30 years, having spent a total of 25 weeks at the top spot. While receiving an Echo award (German equivalent to Grammy) three months later, all band members were exchanged. As of 2012, Rednex has featured 19 performers in total. In 2007 the owners of Rednex put the whole band and trademark up for sale on eBay for $1,500,000, although no sale was finalized. In January 2012 Rednex dissolved the concept of a permanent band and thereby allowed room for a more flexible band structure and paved the way for future franchising opportunities. Today Rednex has eight original band members (although only four appear on stage at the same time), to add to which are the four newcomers that form the Australian and New Zealand franchise group. Their debut performance will take place in Auckland on November 29th. For more information: Email Rednex band & owners: rednex@rednexmusic.com Skype Rednex: RednexMusic Email Jason Beaumont: jason@rednex.co.nz Websites: rednexmusic.com – rednex.co.nz Press release as pdf - http://rednex.info/pressrelease/PressRelea...Franchising.pdf ** A flowumentary (flow & documentary) is a video performance with no storyboard, game plan or director. It is set in a real and unprepared environment, which incidentally sets in motion an unpredictable chain of capricious events that affects the performance in synergy with the improvised desires of the performers. The intention with a flowumentary is that The End result should be, for the most part, unanticipated and unforeseen. ”Go with the flow...”

"She Likes" A.M.X. - Pop/R&B Recording Artist Drops Third Si
Hollywood, CA - After informing us, alongside Snoop Dogg, that "You Made Me Change My Number," then letting us know that "We Can Do Whatever," pop/R&B recording artist A.M.X. is turning the heat up to high and proving that he will always be the one that "She Likes." "She Likes," the artist's third single, is a lush, steamy, seductive testimony to A.M.X.'s arrival. Accompanied by a torrid video, the single is a prelude to A.M.X.'s upcoming remix of his original mixtape, "Broken Halo." Where the original mixtape reflected a more hard core hip hop edge, and featured Sean Brown, Shorty Mack and Bizzy Bone from Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, the remix of "Broken Halo" allows A.M.X. to explore his vast musical roots with broad chord arrangements, live instrumentals and more pop appeal. Directed by Sean Alexander, "She Likes" the video serves to seal the deal with A.M.X.'s female demographics. Showing his more sensual side, A.M.X. swoons and croons with passion and sensitivity. "As a new artist," expresses A.M.X. "I am dedicated to my listeners. But as a man, I sing to women because I love women. I want them to feel and know this through my music, my lyrics and my soul. If "She Likes," then I like!" A.M.X. pounced on the music scene with a determination to have his voice heard. His monster single "We Can Do Whatever," produced by Brian "Chazz" Padilla, is a dance club hit. His debut effort was the Snoop Dogg laced, "You Made Me Change My Number," produced by the Grammy Award nominated Da Internz. A.M.X's mixtape, "Broken Halo," was downloaded over 90,000 times on Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes. A.M.X. has been touring internationally and nationally in support of his career, opening for Boyz II Men, Joe, Ginuwine, SWV, Dru Hill and most recently R. Kelly. Find out why "She Likes" A.M.X. on iTunes at https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/she-likes...gle/id569628781. Visit A.M.X. online at http://www.whoisamx.com/index.html and watch the video at .

An Asian Year For Midem 2012
I've attended the Midem Conference in Cannes, France for the last several years. Each time, I use it as a barometer to help gauge two trends: 1) participation by members of the recording industry, who comprise Midem's traditional core, and 2) which countries made a splash at the event. With respect to the first trend, the picture was less than promising because of the downward trend in Midem attendance over the last several years, which was noticeably accentuated with 2012's number of attendees being a third less than in 2011. This is despite the fact that several people were present who hadn't attended in recent years, in addition to an increase in the numbers among the tech segment and the ever- growing A2iM delegation. Thankfully, my golden Midem rule that participant satisfaction is inversely correlated to attendance size proved to be true once again according to my unscientific and totally random survey. With respect to the second trend, call me biased, but it seemed pretty clear that Southeast Asia and China, which brought an unprecedented number of acts – both major and indie – took the proverbial cake. The city-state of Singapore was disproportionately represented with showcases both by the government's Media Development Agency and Music Services Asia, which also brought bands from Indonesia and Malaysia. China introduced their first international act for export at Midem – Ruhan, and her latest album "Time To Grow." Ruhan sang 3 songs from her album at the Sound of China Pavilion during the official press conference, which I hosted. Classically-trained in China, Ruhan has the type of voice that carries throughout the Riviera exhibition level, drawing a crowd like moths to light. Ruhan is one of the first artists actively promoted by the national Chinese government as part of its 12th Five-Year National Economic Development Plan. Recognizing that it would take an international team to successfully develop a Chinese singer for export, SSCEG/a-Peer Synergy tapped a top Swedish production team as well as Silva Screen Records and OneEntertainment for the European and North American markets respectively. But it was Taiwan who went all out at their 17th Midem, bringing one of Asia's top rock bands – Mayday – to perform both at Midem and Paris' Divan du Monde. With multimillion album sales and three Golden Melody Awards (Taiwan Grammys) for Best Band, Mayday has grown into one of the region's rock music pioneers, building a fanbase that extends across East Asia. And their fans certainly did not disappoint, selling out the 500+ tickets in less than 12 hours, while leaving a wave of online buzz extending stretching across Europe in their wake. The ticket price of €16 skyrocketed in the resale to over €400 ($521 USD). Word was that a group of girls staked out the club, crying and begging for tickets - now that's star power. No wonder press such as HS.fi (Finland media), Yumi Mashiki (famous entertainment industry agent) and RFI (French radio station) have all referred to Mayday as 'The Beatles of Chinese-pop.' The show was preceded by an address to the press by the Taiwanese ambassador and Deputy Minister of the Taiwanese Government Information Office to introduce the line-up of Matzka, Yen-J and Mayday, and then it was off to the balcony-view VIP lounge for "champagne a volonté!" While the crowd was clearly there for Mayday, the real surprise was Aboriginal Reggae band Matzka. Whether singing in their Aboriginal language or Chinese, all you heard was the melding of reggae grooves with folk, rap and rock - an infectious experience that transcended cultural borders and stereotypes... as reggae is so often app to do. That's a pretty good explanation for why they began attracting international attention as early as the 2009 Hohaiyan Rock Festival competition where they were awarded "Best Rock Band." That's also the year that they opened for the Guns N' Roses tour in Taiwan. In August, they became one of the first Taiwanese bands to play at the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan.
