Bit late but oh well!! championes, championes ole ole ole πππ΅ Quality season for us, the lower league double is officially ours woo βΊοΈ On a side note, apparently we may be getting fined for the inevitable, although surprisingly minimal, pitch invasion that followed...how stupid, soon modern football wont even allow you to applaud π But anyway, as queen say 'weeee are the champions, my friend' π΅ππ

What football team/s do you support?
The mighty bristol city, quite the rollercoaster βΊοΈ

Thanks and hopefully. Off the cuff, i think we would do okay with a couple of careful additions. However dont want to jinx anything and as they say a lot of water has to go under a lot of bridges tbf βΊοΈ

Sky Bet League One
Yeeeeeeeees!! ππππ So happy we beat the swinbred cheats. 3-0 and the atmosphere was quality. That is a MASSIVE 3 points and hopefully more is to come. We have been desperate down here for a bit of success after about 6 ish seasons of struggle. A bit annoying is the suggestion we have bought success in a man city fashion, even though we have only spent 250k on fees after selling baldock πβΊοΈ But still. Very happy with tonights result. On a side note, aden flint is an absolute legend! Reporter: as a former swindon player, do you hope they go up with you? Flint: NO! NO! NO! ππ

Havent posted for ages but this season so far has been the best ive witnessed ever π The win in the jpt final was fantastic, a great day out and finally managed to see us win there! Also we became the first team to win it 3 times so thats always a nice record to have βΊοΈ As for the league, ideally id love to see us win the league and hopefully we do, but the recent draws against barnsley and oldham today worry me slightly. A point is always better than none, but i would prefer the 3 obviously. 2 absolutely crucial matches happen this week, with 3rd placed swindle and 2nd placed preston. Would love for us to beat them both but they will probably be the toughest games all season. Overall, im still really happy that we are top of the league, 8 points clear on 2nd but with the games running out (6 left now π³) i really hope we dont mess up what has already been a fantastic season to date. π

A shame our long unbeaten run since march had to come to an end v swindon. Looking at the incident that caused wade elliott to be sent off, the FA should be ashamed. The swindon player appears to pull wade elliott towards him and then fall on the floor claiming a headbutt. Not to mention a certain mr thompson celebrating and trying to provoke our fans at the final whistle. Why dont the FA do anything about that? Anyway onto the preston game tomorrow and hopefully we can start up a new unbeaten run with a home win. Still top of the league and hope we remain so! Coyr and ctid

I mean in terms of i would rather support my local football club with a season ticket thats actually affordable, than be a gloryhunter excited for the premier league sky matches, cheering teams with stupidly big budgets, too many foreign players and embarrassing fans haha :) Great win today for bristol city, 2-1 is a good result, colchester were quite a good side. Korey smith, ayling and flint were winners today as well as abraham and elliott, fantastic performance. 3 points tuesday night v orient at home please #coyr #ctid

Interesting question
Scouting around on the internet i came across a very interesting question: If you had to sign one of the following players, even though you probably wouldnt want to, but if say you had to, who would you pick? -Nile Ranger -Ched Evans - Marlon King Tbh id probably go for nile ranger out of the 3, what about you guys? :)

Summer Transfer Topic 2014 - Window closed!
ooh that's good news and yeah true. If we can get Baldock and JET to sign new contracts the future seems bright hopefully :) saw freeman a few times last season and was probably the best player id seen all season, Jack Grealish was good too :)

Summer Transfer Topic 2014 - Window closed!
Really chuffed with bristol city's transfer activity so far. -luke freeman -wade elliott -mark little -aaron wilbraham -korey smith -luke ayling these signings have seen us go wnd favourites to win league 1, which obviously i hope we do :D what does everyone else think of these signings? :)

2014 World Cup
Disappointed with England's performance. 2 things are the reasons that let us down every year imo -the amount of foreign players in the premier league, which holds back british players who should be starting for the big clubs. This is highlighted by an interesting stat between english and spanish football ' In La Liga 60% of players are Spainsh, in Premier League only 31% are English'. Yes spain haven't done too well this world cup, but it highlights the problem. -the other problem i have is that why no lower league players are picked to play for England. Surely some top end championship players should be getting a look in. Plus a season of success means they go to the world cup brimming with confidence. As for the world cup now, im mainly backing columbia, equador and ghana ππ―π―π―π―

Well im going to enjoy this. If your a bristol city fan its been a good few days. Bristol city finish inthe top half of league 1. Amazing, considering where we were when cotterill took over. Yeovil are relegated. Cardiff are relegated. And best of all, Bristol rovers are relegated out of the football league  Even better is that because of the violent actions by their lot yesterday (fights with police, punching a police horse, punching 2 of their own players, threatening mansfield fans with knives etc) they could well get a huge fine and possibly a big points deduction. This could relegate them to the conference south. :D i haveno sympathy for them after they laughed at us last year for being relegated. And also the history (hollowhead wanting to play hunt the city fan etc) :D enjoy eastleigh, alfreton and grimsby guys. onto Bristol city though as they are most important and what a turn around it has been by cotterill. Didnt aggree with his appointment but fair play to him keeping us up and pushing us into midtable top half. We need to build on this season though and try and gain a bit of momentum for a promotion push. Of the loanees i would keep wade elliott, martin patterson, nyron nosworthy and possibly simon gillet. We need to keep JET and the golden boot winner baldock tbh. On a side note, feel sorry for the carlisle fan on here slightly, good luck in league 2 next year :)

Cant believe we beat orient last night, still buzzing from that result. 3-1 away at orient is fantastic considering where we are woo. Still need more wins though. :D and also nice to see that we are leading the way for a reintroduction of safe standing in football. Our trial stand has been on the news everywhere in the uk and looks really cool. :D ctid

Glad we won against carlisle today. We needed the points and even though we played poorly, im just so happy to be out of that bottom 4, although we need more wins. Wes burns is gonna be one hell of a player if he keeps progressing like he is. Wade elliott really didnt impress me though. Still, to the carlisle fan on here, beat you home and away now bud ;) onto the next and hopefully better performances with wins in the future from bristol city. Ctid

EusΓ©bio R.I.P. (1942-2014)
late RIP but a true legend to the game, never saw him play live, but seeing him online he seemed such a nice bloke with more talent in 1 foot than many modern footballers have in their whole bodies. RIP :(

a draw against Watford was a good result, however we should have won. Watford dived and cheated a lot. Young Wes Burns really is one for the future, absolutely superb when he has played. Hopefully we win the replay as we could get to play man city at the Etihad. I never been there and its a dream of mine to go one day, so if we make it I will be so excited lol :D Karleigh Osborne signing is a decent addition. he's been a rock on loan and so glad to have him permanently. Tyrone Barnett I dunno much about, but if he can score that's good. just had a thought about West Ham, after losing 5-0 to florist and 6-0 to man city, and needing a striker, surely becchio at Norwich wouldn't be that bad a signing for them. Banged them in in the championship for fun so maybe they should enquire, I dunno. :) anyway onwards and upwards with cotterill's cider army, keeping the red flag flying high! :D

4-1 win v stevenage was a good result and signs are looking good. Jay emmanuel thomas is the 6th highest goalscorer in europe in 2013 apparently! :o long may it continue, hopefully we dont sell him as even though he can be perceived as lazy, he creates and scores for fun and is a useful asset to have.- Premier League / Football League 13/14
Yay we won finally, life under steve cotterill isnt so bad. Is a better team performance and winjing against walsall was greeted with scenes as if we had won the playoffs lol. Apparently we are getting bobby zamora too :D onto our rivals in malaysia, we always knew the malaysian red drsgons with no soul fc were an embarrasment, but this is ridiculous. I actually rated mackay. Apparently theres a strong rumour that tan may become manager himself, the odds have gone down too. More of a laughing stock to come. Guess we can really truely say that 'you look like ***** when you tap your head' ;)- Premier League / Football League 13/14
Fair point about the record, but still think it was far too soon. I think with all the behind the scenes work that needed doing, and which he was to a degree, it was never going to be done in a short time. As for steve cotterill, only time will tell i guess. Anyway onto the last week tamworth was a good game on itv. Glad we didnt give them what they wanted in an upset. The boys did us proud and im buzzing for watford at home, who coincidentally were the team i was following in the championship anyway haha :D think forestieri and deeney are who to watch. Onto today and what an embarrassing performance. We were outclassed at times by a very poor rotherham side. Cheating ref didnt help too, but thats a different story haha. We are in desperate need of some new faces or we will get even worse than we currently are. Someone dressing up as a sheik was a goodlaugh though ;) quicker shorey goes the better in my opinion. Bottom of the league is something i never expected this season. I didnt expect promotion but i didnt expect relegation. :( On to notts county where we desperately need to win this 6 pointer.- Premier League / Football League 13/14
hello fellow red, blkmey our club is a mess at the moment. Why are we putting ourselves through this much pain and heartbreak again? Lol. Anyway nice to see a fellow bristol city fan on here :D- Premier League / Football League 13/14
Sorry i havent been on for ages everyone, but ive been busy with a-levels atm :( Thought id shed my opinion on the events at bristol city the past few days. When i heard the news of his sacking, i was appalled. Ive lost confidence in the board because of it. They've lied to us yet again, saying 'we will be sticking with sean for the long term' and he lasts 10 months? Embarrassing. I was firmly in the so'd in brigade because unlike a lot of fans i could see the long term benefits Sean was making and he was improving the side. Yes, okay, results weren't good enough, but you have to find a level to rebuild at. The timing was completely wrong imo and we will end up regretting this. I also found it embarrassing how our board cant even be bothered to at least jntroduce steve cotterill to the press. No other boards at other clubs would lurk in the shadows, yet ours do...embarrassing. anyway onto steve cotterill and im a bit confused at this decision, he sounds decent enough in interviews but im not happy if his game is long ball. Again, if we revert to this, then its another lie from a board wanting 'entertaining, possession, passing football'. Im gonna give him a chance though as i like to give most managers a chance (pulisexcluded ;) ) moral of the story is its tough being a city fan, and most of us need therapy lol ;) but if the board continue to alienate sections of the fans, and continue how embarrassing they are, it can only spell disaster for my club. Onto the tamworth game, live on itv, where i hope steve cotterill shows the people who doubted him to be wrong. Ctid - Premier League / Football League 13/14
