tbh I don't know why either. I just logged in to Buzzjack when I came home from work clicked on my name and randomly saw loads of new visitors to my profile then I saw my name get mentioned for no apparent reason by someone here.

As I said earlier it's quite sad that things are like this but I guess it's not going to change anytime soon. New Kids On The Block had #1s with multiple weeks at the top though.

With The Beatles & Elvis Presley it was a much broader appeal, even to this day many people of different backgrounds, cultures and ages like their music. They didn't just say "hey girl buy my single and I'll follow you on instagram" or anything of the like. They worked hard at their craft for many years putting out music as their passion and not just to be #1 for one week.

This is what my point is. This is part of what is wrong with the UK chart these days.

The Kooks are not completely rubbish imo She Moves In Her Own Way, Sign Sign Sign On & Always Where I Need To Be are good songs.

They'll probably fall down to #7 or even lower than that.

^ It's no longer at #1 on the album chart as well (it's at #3). SURELY this will not be #1 on Sunday.

5 Seconds of Summer - She Looks So Perfect 0.5934 Will be down to number 5 soon.

tbh it's quite sad to see songs supposedly going to number 1 like this, this is not really a true reflection of music right now. Can you honestly say deep down in your hearts that She Looks So Perfect is the most symbolic song in music right now? what happened to the days when #1 songs signified a specific time in life or in a particular season or year? It seems all you need now are a load of screaming teenage girls and your instantly number 1. The UK chart is losing it's heart and soul imo.

5 Seconds Of Summer will be signing on by this time next year! They will be forgotten about very quickly.

It's nice to see Calvin Harris moving up in the playlist again, hopefully it will be in the A-List next week.

Normally newly released songs that get to #1 on iTunes build up a big lead almost straight away but this one hasn't which means that it wont be #1 for very long at all.
