I'm not a fan, but I was interested to see this - and to hear some of his new music. You have to give people a chance. :D I watched it whilst I was wrapping pressie ;) s. I was expecting something much more in depth and interesting, and was really hoping GG would spill the beans on Simon Cowell, but he tubed out <_<

It's possible she'll even beat Will Young's record of 1.2 million in a week. The media will go to town on that. Although the comparison will be meaningless as Will didn't release just before Christmas, nor did the single go for sale until 3 weeks after he won PI, and there were no downloads then either.

Poor Shayne has been totally snubbed by Simon Cowell and the X factor - I hope he can sell out arenas - he's been away from public consciousness for ages - and now people are flocking to worship at the shrine of Leona.

Anyway Looking Glass boy - welcome etc :) Will has nothing to prove - he's carved out a huge career in the UK and earned shed loads of love and respect here, in spite of several barriers he's had to overcome. If SA don't want him it's their loss not Wills! SA can always have Shayne, if that's who they really want. I actually like Shayne, I think he has huge potential as a pop star in the Robbie Williams tradition. Not everyone wants that sort of act though (me included), so there's room for all - without resorting to nastiness or comparison all the time :rolleyes:

I didn't know Lemar had a single out. Has his bubble burst? What did his last album sell? He wins loads of awards, gets lots of cred etc - I'm surprised he seems to have gone off the radar at the moment.
