  1. Well done! Honestly, can't believe sonybmg are being so stubborn. What's their problem??? Will should leave them and leave right now!

There should be a DVD as a matter of course! What is wrong with BMG??? Anyone would think Will was a no-body - not their no. 1 UK star! Angry!!!!!!!!!
  3. And me - what a disappointment after the amazing single - :(
  4. Nooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who buys, who?
  5. Ah, so GGs inability to speak in interviews are what made Jo Whiley not invite him to the live lounge. Funny, I always thought it was the lack of a good song, and average (if not mimed) vocals. Silly me! :P Sorry, did you want Will fans to go and slag GG off in the Darius forum publicly? I don't think anyone can be bothered - too much going on with a fantastic Arena tour. It's annoying when journalists make uninformed comments, but don't think Will has escaped those - he had them by the bucketful - especially when GG was pronounced Pop Idol winner in Europe <_<
  6. Ooerrr, don't take it to the Darius forum :o  :) Thanks for putting up all the news.
  7. His legs are amazing! Weird Will:)
  8. I'm loving the whole album - prefer Invincible and Knights myself, but all the tracks are great. My brother saw them at Reading and said they blew everyone else out the water!
  9. Wow - Lemar is on the A list for both stations! That doesn't happen often.
  10. It seems to me that the music market has moved on a lot since Pop Idol 1. The demand is for 'real' bands or solo artists that have sort of emerged via gigging/supporting bigger names and internet. There's a long list at the moment, James Blunt, James Morrison, Paul Nutino, Sandi thom, Lily Allen etc, etc. I am a Will fan, but that has nothing to do with my opinion on Gareth, or Shayne. I just think the demand for 'manufactured' artists - (or those perceived to be manufactured) is not there anymore - not for the over 12s anyway. The ones hanging on or even thriving are those who have a large and loyal fanbase, like Westlife, Robbie, Will, Kylie and at the Girls Aloud are still around. The successes have to have tons of X factor, genuine talent and lots of fans. Look at the number of failed solo acts recently - Duncan James, Lee ryan, Steve Brookstein, Anthony Costa - to name only a few. So............my point is - does Gareth have what's needed in today's music world? He has an OK voice, he's nice looking - he has musical talent, If he does put out some good music he deserves to do well. Where I see him failing is in his fan-base - I just doubt very much he still has enough loyal fans left who are still interested enough to buy into him. Pop Idol was 5 years ago - 12 year olds then are now 17 and into dance etc.
  11. How GG fans stay so loyal to a guy that has strung them along for 3years with hardly a word - except the odd 'I'm fine and I'm working on a new album' type comment, I'll never understand. Still, big up to them for sticking it out I suppose. Personally I think Gareth's had his day, he is an 'ex' pop star, and the sooner the final chapter (next release - if there ever is one) is over and done with the better for all concerned.

    Fantastic news - that A list chart - I like it :D
  13. Hello - I'm here. Great thread for lost fans :D
  14. Phew - your moving pics  Gorgeous, cool guy Will :P One day he will drop that microphone :o ;) The shrug - sexy man  Anyway - great news about the South African concerts - go William!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I thought very few acts mimed in the end, despite those strange press reports - Danii M was one though - but definately not Will - I have never seen him mime once :D FM
  16. I thought he was really good. Didn't catch all the acts, but I liked Hrd Fi and Ordinary Boys - and Simon Webbe - but Will was the best - for me :D The worst were Embrace - (what happened there :o) and Shayne (yawn) Ward.

5 singles from an album is seriously taking the mick, and I don't think it does artists any favours. Kelly seems to have been around for eternity - it's about time she went away now. I do like her, but there is overkill! Anyway, I put top 30 :D .

What is wrong with the guy <_< He seriously needs to get a grip or he'll end up a laughing stock. That song is terrible :o He can't be so stupid as to not realise that he's sending his career down the pan!

Louis Walsh in the radio times "Although I won in the end and Shayne Ward is going fantastically. I think he's going to be the biggest of all the UK acts. Bigger than Will Young? Yeah! He's going into arenas whereas Will didn't go straight into them. I think Will is great but this guy has more appeal. I had G4 from last year's x factor and I had Girl's Aloud from the other show but I think Shayne is going to be the most successful." Discuss :P Although I'm fed up with LW constantly referring to Shayne going to be bigger than Will, I'm equally annoyed that Will gets compared with GA and G4 aswell. He has sold tons more albums than either act - yet these comparisons are never really questioned <_< FM FM

Surely that's why they are fans. I love Will Young's vocals - on almost anything, so yes, I nominate him - he always sings live and has a unique and pure voice - IMO. There are loads of other singers I like too though - Stevie Wonder, Darren Hayes, Van Morrison, Mick Hucknell - to name a few. All guys :) Just a personal preference for male voices. Christina A and Pink have great voices too. FM

Can't stand Mariah Carey's version of Without you :( But you brought to mind another best vocal performance - Harry Neilsons' Without You - never been bettered IMO :) FM

Will Young singing 'I Love You More Than You Will Ever Know' 100% awesome :o It's on the B side of Switch It On. If you've not heard it, you are missing something great! FM

He was fabulous on Princes trust thing. Shame JK and Joel couldn't give him some credit on the album chart show  Anyway - he's doing great in album chart again, and hopefully this performance will bump him up again ;) FM
