He's no 1 on Tesco downloads charts, and Tesco have done a big marketing thing e-mailing their customers with special offer 65p d/l of Changes. I have no idea how many or how few this could account for though :unsure: I do like the Igloo and Hartley song actually :D

It didn't sell well, but I can't remember exactly. I do think the 2millions album sales bit may be a slight exageration :unsure: I really liked If there's any justice, but that's about it, TBH. I'll be interested to see what album 4 is like though.

Radio one and radio two often have the same artists in their playlist- Sugarbabes and James morrison for example. I don't think they discus with each other, 'you have this one and we'll have that one' :D I disagree that Will doesn't fit the radio one demographic. His Live lounge version of Hey Ya was voted best LL cover the year he did it. Also, radio one championed his best breakthrough artist Brit. Chris Moyles and Jo Whiley have both interviewed him - Chris several times. Switch it on was A listed - after that something went wrong, and he has been largely ignored since. Maybe he was a pain in the arse or something :) Changes is as good a pop song as Lies, and better than Girls or You Make it Real - in my opinion - and also in the opinion of Music week, who have it as their record of the week this week.

The tickets went out via Will's official site, and I would say that does consist of 50% or so in that age range. However, he has lots of younger fans too - on Youtube you can find videos of his festival performances - the venues were packed out with young people - males and females :D Radio One supported Will really well for his last album, Why should things change? i think there have been some things going on behind the scenes at radio one, and Scott Mills has indeed said some nasty and personal things about Will on air and in a magazine.

Agreed, but Will doesn't need radio one - they way they have ignored his comeback is so petty :rolleyes:

I'm confused. Is this chart based on the actual numbers of pre-sales ordered - or the position in the pre-sales charts of these outlets? Sorry to be slow, but I'm surprised if quite precise information on pre-sales is made public. It seems to be looking quite good for Will if it's based on actual orders made.

Will has been consistently ahead of James in pre-release charts, and that's without any suport from radio one. I'm not sure how indicative that is though. i hope they both do well, but I'm not overly impressed by You Make it Real. It's pleasant, but not a 'must buy'.

James's song is a huge disappointment :( maybe it's a grower? Still he's getting radio 1s backing. Will no longer exists as far as that station is concerned :???:
