Woo for Evanescence! I'm surprised they did it in the USA, they didn't manage overtaking The Killers in the UK. Great sales for the first week!

It's so hard to choose between because I like so many of the songs. Lacrymosa is the chosen song for me. I love the choir, heavy guitars, etc. even though I wish it was a bit more intense throughout and perhaps a bit longer. My top 5 At the moment are: 1. Lacrymosa 2. Like You 3. The Only One 4. Sweet Sacrifice 5. Lose Control

In all honesty, I don't think most of this album is catchy. Many people I know like myself refer to this album as a grower. On first listen, the only song I liked was Lithium.. THAT stood out as powerful and catchy.

Hey Everyone, I'm new here. So thrilled there's a section on Evanescence, I'm a HUGE fan. I'd say Origin has the best lyricst tbh. I know it's their earliest work, but some of the lyrics in songs such as Anywhere, Field of Innocence, Missing, Breathe No More are amazing. Fallen had some damn good lyrics too, and so does The Open Door. It's hard to say which is better out of those two, but Origin is a clear favourite to me.
