AOL have put about 1 minute of three new songs off 'The Best Damn Thing'. It's not availble for people in the UK So they've been recorded and uploaded. When You're Gone sounds like an AMAZING Ballad <3

Is anyone else really looking forward to this? Good duet, but his voice doesn't appeal to me, especially in the chorus. Hers however sounds fantstic.

Amy Lee has confirmed in an interview that Good Enough will be the last single off The Open Door. Last week 'All That I'm Living For' was announced at the Ottawa gig, to be the third single. Good Enough has now been confirmed as the fourth single. All four of the single choices were played as acoustics in various sessions such as Yahoo and AOL. I'm sorry, but Good Enough in my opinion is a c**p single choice... as is All That I'm Living For. They're both good songs but we need at least one song with a faster pace such as Sweet Sacrifice or Weight of the World or Snow White Queen (The latter, I think would make an interesting video) I think they're both weak choices, after CMWYS and Lithium were good choices. If they recieve the same sort of attention commerically as Lithium did (which, IMO, is the most radio-friendly song on the album), then they're both doomed to flop.

This week TOD has slipped one place to #15 in the world chart. But gone up 5 places to #43 in the UK Chart :dance: Lithium in the UK Charts has gone down to #56 but is #1 in the Rock chart.

GRIMLY FIENDISH is right.. Fallen was more commerical.. it's why it did so well.. but TOD is so much more experimental and creative.. it does sound like the material of Origin.. Its why it's so much better than Fallen. To be honest, I like Ev to do well, but I'd rather them had an "Ouch" at 32 than a remake of Fallen or an album that went commercial. Green days album went commerical and then people just ended up hating it.

^^ Noo that would have been worse. Lacrymosa is an AMAZING song but it's not in the slighest radio friendly. I don't think many of TOD tracks are.. I think SS and The Only One might have gotten away with being a single, but only just.

This sont wasnt promoted well enough, but I was quite confident it would be top 30 at least! Hopefully now its been heard on Radio 1 Charts it might get people buying this week. We'll see.

It's definately true. I have the Ottawa concert in MP3 and she announced herself just before performing it.

Such a shame. Its better than Everybodys fool and even that got higher. I prefer it to CMWYS, which got to number 4.

Apparently the band announced at a show in Canada that 'All That I'm Living For' will be the 3rd single off The Open Door. To be honest, I think thats a bad choice. I think The Only One, Sweet Sacrifice or SWQ would do better. ATILF is most likely to flop.

The Open Door has gone up again in this week's World Chart, to number #14 selling 75,000 copies.
