Dance Chart Number Ones 1990 - 1999
Can I question this? Jungle was widespread in the summer of 1992 and drum 'n' bass was already a widely used term by 1994. By the end of the decade the popular sound had already passed through "big beat" and the "breaks" sound was coming in. :) Pedantic I know...

Top of the Pops on BBC4
Great to see Stu Francis, he was my hero around that time. Did anyone ever actually see him crush a grape? He certainly could, the question is did he ever?

Ronaldo
I hope so, he's one of the most arrogant people in the world on TV usually.

Different artists with the same name with chart hits
LFO - the original bleep-techno act and the "Lyte Funkie Ones" who were some awful American boy band around the turn of the century.

WWE buzzchat II
Since it's the 25th anniversary of the first appearance of the Undertaker and the 24th anniversary of his first title win, they could give it to the Undertaker. Tournament matches are always really, really short and somebody always gets a bye straight to the final so it'd be perfect for him. He can then lose it at the Royal Rumble once WWE have re-jigged their future plans.

I actually found Another Night quite catchy, would never have bought it but didn't mind it.

1990s Top 40 Rate - The 'Impossible' Part 3
I guess so - I know all three songs extremely well, just hard to find links when you know them as separate entities I suppose. What about the Cannonball bassline though? That's what makes it iconic (or at least I thought it was!)

Unfathomable results. Two songs I can't even recall. Hope there's a reshuffle as Cannonball was robbed!!!!!

His Dark Materials
The film wasn't bad and it would have been nice for them to make the other two. But, with child actors you have to act fast and it would have made more sense to make all three back to back a la Peter Jackson - guess the money wasn't there to do that. A long TV series is what is needed - Six 60 minute episodes per book would be nice. The question is when to show it? The Dr Who slot would make sense rather than 9pm on a Sunday (which hampered the viewing figures of the excellent Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell) or they could break from the current weird "prime-time" setup and stick it on a weekday at 8pm.

John Lewis Christmas ad to feature Oasis track?
Just realised that I didn't see the advert last year or hear the record. Would be very pleased to keep it that way this year too.

Not sure Spagna deserves the embarrassed pause before her name there - 'Call Me' is a much cooler record than 'Two Times' or 'Satisfaction'!

1990s Top 40 Rate - Part 6
Well, didn't see that one coming! :D Just as well I voted so we didn't have to sneer at some classic records from Rebel MC, The Wonder Stuff and Dinosaur Jr though <_<

Dance Chart Number Ones 1990 - 1999
That was the norm in the 90s though - somehow the labels often thought the UK was more sophisticated or wouldn't like certain mixes. We've had examples of that already in this thread with the Bruce Forrest mix of 24-7's 'I Can't Stand It', the non-rap version of 'Get Ready for This' and that flaccid mix of 'Doop'. One record coming later in 1994 (if it's considered dance, which I think it is) probably would have been released as a slightly harder mix had so many Brits not heard it in its original Europop form during the summer of that year and perfected the, er, dance.

Dance Chart Number Ones 1990 - 1999
This is the version I first heard and thought was pretty fun (I liked the two dancing blokes in the video especially) - I really didn't like the second part in the "Urge 2 Merge" mix which we got in the UK. Anyway, very ashamed now to have this on 7"..... But it's better than most of 1994 :P

Bit surprised by Sick and Tired winning, but says more about the Cardigans and the general type of band people on BJ like. Can't fathom out why anyone still listens to Alanis Morrissette though.

Ha! I would never have predicted two Divine Comedy records in the top 10 of anything...but there you go.
