No. We would have decided to remain in the European single market and to continue to welcome people from other countries to come and live here should they choose to. We would have to continue abiding by some EU laws, but would no longer have to endure the farcical situation where only 1 out of 59 of our representatives has a Parliamentary vote that counts.

Watched episode 1 last night - Rob Beckett and Al Murray are winning on the lateral thinking so far. Paul Chowdhry seems to be taking the Joe Wilkinson "crap but sometimes brilliant" role this time. Can't wait for the next one, one of the best shows on TV!

Good to see Andrew finally get star baker. I think Selasi is on borrowed time now. Difficult to call who will win - think it might be an Andrew, Jane and Benjamina final with Candice finally getting caught out in the semi-final for going the extra yard too far.

Arthur is excellent - I used to regularly watch it before work. It had a surprisingly cool grasp on popular and not so popular culture and some ace special guests.

I like the fact they did this. If it needed 50% turnout to be binding then ensuring less than 50% means its null and void from the start...and if Orban does indeed try to change the constitution after the fact then that's not democratic...and shows he'd probably have changed the result in any case. So, best possible course of action I think. Too much of a risk of the other side winning otherwise - look at Brexit.
