I'd be happy enough to see Miranda in a top 50, but not number one. I do like some of the gags on it though and I love the fact it has a "you have been watching" bit at the end.

The remakes were ok. I think the Porridge writers made a brave attempt to update it but it worked best when the comedy was timeless, such as the constant changing hands of the pineapple chunks. Are You Being Served suffered from the size of the cast, but it was alright.

River in Me is excellent - been listening to it ever since it came out. I thought the vocalist was Jana Hunter from Lower Dens but I think I looked it up and it's someone who sounds like her. Interestingly, Jana has worked with Trentemoller in the past though.

Heh, this poll is so bizarre (as usual). Miranda will probably win - I saw loads and loads of 20 ratings when this was being voted on. Good that Fawlty Towers ended up Top 3 and Only Fools will probably be runner up. As for Ab Fab and Gavin and Stacey, I've never understood where the laughs are in either series. At least Miranda falls over a lot.

The album was ok, I enjoyed "The Messy Eater".

I caught the tail end of Are You Being Served as a child and I loved Mr Humphreys. I never saw Seinfeld though, BBC2 had the rights but they stuck it on at a very strange time - something like midnight on a Tuesday.

Great idea, I'll enjoy this :)

I'd personally have Finding Nemo below all the Toy Stories and Ratatouille, so no.3 is a fair compromise :) (No guilt in being the one to deal the final blow!) ;)

I didn't mind it until the chorus but then she started belting it out and I had to switch it off. I definitely wouldn't label her as indie / alternative - but that's just me. The genre has been taken over by what I'd maybe call AOP (adult-orientated pop).

Big Hero 6 and Zootropolis are among the best animated films of the 21st century. There's a really good balance between humour, character, story and the all important cuteness. It's also good to see them embracing contemporary life again (albeit stretching the imagination) instead of raiding classic storybooks. Disney hasn't been this good since Walt died.
