  1. My prediction is that Ariana takes #1 on iTunes for 2 days before falling. It will end being a close race for the #1 position throughout the week between Justin and Adele, but streaming will push her over the edge in the official chart.

Are you even a fan of Adele? Why are you here? Have nothing else to do with your life?

Lady Gaga is not a better singer than Adele and neither is Ariana! Gosh, what is this delusion! Take this conversation somewhere else and stop hijacking the single thread!

    1. Hello - 10/10 2. Rolling in the Deep - 10/10 3. Set Fire To The Rain - 10/10 4. Hometown Glory - 10/10 5. Someone Like You - 10/10 6. Skyfall - 9.5/10 7. Cold Shoulder - 9/10 8. Chasing Pavements - 8.5/10 9. Make You Feel My Love - 8.5/10 That was actually an easy ranking for me. They're all pretty amazing actually. Many classics already.
  7. Adele also smashed the record in the US for the highest amount of plays recorded in one day! OMG!

Let's be realistic - 21 is not going to happen again. That was a literal phenomenon. I agree with the poster who said that this is could be similar to MJ's Bad after the Thriller album which sold around 60% of Thriller. Also, ^ yes she her beauty blew me away actually. She's certainly got more beautiful with age.

The mumbling and talking in the video is not on the official audio.

This song is very remix-able and has the ability to interchange between styles. You could imagine the chorus being used on a rock song of some sort.

I find it riveting that they went with Rolling in the Deep for the first single of 21 knowing that Someone Like You was on the album. That was a very risky decision but I think I heard Adele pushed for that. I wonder if there is a song that will connect to the GP like SLY on 25? Industry insiders seem to think the album is incredible, so I'm excited to see what's next. I think Hello is absolutely incredible by the way. Definitely one of her best. I've heard people say it could have been on 21 but I kind of disagree. I think there's an obvious shift in style from 21 as a collective and hello, but I also do agree that if the song had been on the album, it would have only served to make 21 stronger and would have been one of the singles.
  12. I must say, after being an avid 'chart-watcher' for many years, I am blown away by Adele's dominance on the iTunes Charts around the world. I think this is such an exciting time in music, especially to chart fans.
  13. I'd love to know if this was the fastest climb to #1 ever, concretely. It must be quite hard to find that sort of info though.
  14. 01. Adele - Hello I don't think I've ever seen a song rise so fast?
  15. It's too low on the Spotify charts to beat Bieber in the official chart.
  16. 02. Naughty Boy (feat. Beyoncé, Arrow Benjamin) - Runnin'
  17. I got dropped and now I'm releasing an EP independently on sound cloud. Should notch up a couple of hundred listens. I'll see where I go from there afterwards.
  18. So it will drop on iTunes now, right?
  19. Misha B up to #6 OMG!
