These are APPALLING numbers for Ed. I’m genuinely shocked! I was expecting him to sell close to 300,000 for the entire week :/ He can’t be very happy right about now.

I’m not going to get into a debate with you about a fact akin to the moon orbiting the earth and the earth orbiting the sun. You can use the tools at your disposal to educate yourself.

I’m not talking about albums or singles. She’s the bigger artist, period. I need you all to get that into your heads. In no country or territory is Ed Sheeran a bigger artist than Adele. That is an objective fact, not a subjective opinion. It’s not even debatable.

This has to be a troll <_<

For me, EOM is #2 and Shivers is #8 and #19.

What’s with the attitude? I agree that EOM could definitely go back to #1 by Friday looking at the data. It’s still #1 on both Spotify and Apple Music. I could be wrong (in fact, that happens a lot), but I don’t think it’s out of the realms of possibility like you’re suggesting.

Mind you, Adele has always been more of albums artist in the UK despite having huge success with singles as well. I definitely think EOM has a chance of reclaiming the #1 position by the end of the week.

Really can’t comprehend how OG is at #1 looking at the data available. The top 3 must be *very* close.
  10. Extremely shocked by Ed’s numbers tbh. I suspect he did much better in the UK than anywhere else though, so let’s wait to see the official numbers.
  11. Analysing it a bit closer, EOM is still the #1 song in every major city in the U.K. on Apple Music, so it’s not likely that Shivers is going to surpass it anytime soon.

She’s #1 in 22 countries so far. If that’s a flop, then I’d hate to hear how that user would describe everyone else  Unless, of course, he is being sarcastic. Which I suspect he probably is.

    What a load of nonsense.
  14. The 24 million figure is unfiltered streams, which is the highest ever recorded in a single day and beats BTS who previously held the record.
  15. The numbers in the US are not “low” by any standards. It’s one of the highest daily streams for a song of all time and it also lost an hour, so you can add about 280,000 streams to its total to get a better gist of its performance. It performed incredibly in the US, as it did almost everywhere in the world. The only country I’d consider a disappointment is Spain.

This is a chart forum. I think every single person on this forum cares about the charts to some extent.

And? It’s Bey’s power that’s making it go to number 1. That’s the point. Any artist can feature on any song so you’re point is truly ridiculous.

Lol. Anyway, did you guys know this is going to be number 1 in the US with Bey being credited? Queen. 3 decades in.

Yes, it looks that way. They could have been number 1 with better streaming figures. However, the original version of Dimelo is now freefalling and I think the newer version is starting to slow down according to kworb. The Perfect duet just had a really good update.

According to the official charts (someone emailed them), it’s up to the label to decide. So basically, either Ed or Bey are blocking the credit. My bet’s on Bey.

Beyoncé not being credited is ridiculous, especially when the duet would hit number 1 on its own without the solo version. So on the charts, Beyoncé won’t be represented at all despite it being her that made it go to number 1... shocking.
