It's a figure of speech depicting domination over somebody else. Used in a sentence: 'Adele has nearly overtaken Britney on the chart, she's about to snatch her weave'. Granted, Britney may not even wear a weave and she's occasionally bald, but it's just a figure of speech that has become a popular saying in pop culture.

Let's be realistic - 21 is not going to happen again. That was a literal phenomenon. I agree with the poster who said that this is could be similar to MJ's Bad after the Thriller album which sold around 60% of Thriller. Also, ^ yes she her beauty blew me away actually. She's certainly got more beautiful with age.

This song is very remix-able and has the ability to interchange between styles. You could imagine the chorus being used on a rock song of some sort.

I find it riveting that they went with Rolling in the Deep for the first single of 21 knowing that Someone Like You was on the album. That was a very risky decision but I think I heard Adele pushed for that. I wonder if there is a song that will connect to the GP like SLY on 25? Industry insiders seem to think the album is incredible, so I'm excited to see what's next. I think Hello is absolutely incredible by the way. Definitely one of her best. I've heard people say it could have been on 21 but I kind of disagree. I think there's an obvious shift in style from 21 as a collective and hello, but I also do agree that if the song had been on the album, it would have only served to make 21 stronger and would have been one of the singles.

I must say, after being an avid 'chart-watcher' for many years, I am blown away by Adele's dominance on the iTunes Charts around the world. I think this is such an exciting time in music, especially to chart fans.

I'd love to know if this was the fastest climb to #1 ever, concretely. It must be quite hard to find that sort of info though.

Runnin' is the best song in the top 40. It's production and lyrics are just amazing.

I like this track. But as with most The Weeknd songs, I expect to get bored of it pretty quick.
