In my opinion, ACR shouldn’t exist anyway. It’s utterly stupid. The most popular song that week should be #1, it’s decline shouldn’t be artificially accelerated. It’s ludicrous.

Some of you are making me laugh with your nonsensical takes. “EOM had its run!!! It isn’t fair! :( :( :(” The ONLY reason it isn’t still number 1 is due to Christmas. The song hasn’t even been out 4 months yet and people are acting like it’s been charting for 6. It’s only right that it should continue from where it left off before the Christmas effect kicked in. EOM still has a lot of life left in it yet, hence why it’s still doing very well on streaming and iTunes.

The fact EOM is currently #1 on AM and yet it will be impacted massively by ACR due to Christmas further highlights a huge flaw with the system they’ve got in place.

I don’t think Adele would ever be someone to record a Christmas song, either. She’s not that type of artist at all.

Definitely the biggest artist in the world. Whether she is the "greatest artist in the world" is more a matter of personal taste. But I will say you could make a good case for it.
