The CBS special got 11.6m in the consolidated ratings. The ITV special got around 5.6m I think.

Fair enough. Just thought I’d update you all on what they’re reporting because they’re always in close contact with AdeleAccess.

Exactly. But they seem pretty certain and it’s unusual for them to post inaccurate information like that. I definitely think they are mistaken though.

The UK. They said AdeleAccess (Adele’s official fan account ran by her team) has personally told them this info. They don’t usually lie but they could have misinterpreted the information because it doesn’t really add up.

Adeledaily is reporting Adele’s team has personally told them they’ve sold over 300k so far. Hmm.

Don’t believe it for one second. They didn’t provide any source.

Exactly, they’re comparing 30 Adele to 25 Adele as opposed to comparing 30 Adele to every other artist not named Adele. If she sells anywhere close to 300k, she is technically still in a league of her own because no one else is doing it.

I guess if you appreciate the album for the piece of art it is and the story it tells, you’ll like it a lot more. I think people were expecting Adele to just put 12 pop ballads on the album purely to enhance sales, but I’m glad she had artistic integrity and went through with her artistic vision. She obviously didn’t have commercial expectations at the forefront of her mind when making this album.

Those are fantastic numbers regardless of how people try to twist them.

As for Adele 30, the reviews continue to roll in and some are calling it one of the best albums of all time and two reviews have compared it to Tapestry. So we are ALL in for a treat.
