Top 40 of 2023 (so far...) - WEEK 17
Yes JSG, you make a good point here. Chvrches climbing for a 6th consecutive week is rare, but the Top 3 are pretty solid, so it might be a case of a non-mover for them next week. The Tove Lo song was a YouTube recommendation and that's how I came to hear it. Like you I had not given her much consideration beforehand. Reference Mimi, it's a little surprising that Freezing was so overlooked considering her previous successes. I think it's a fairly strong track but I'm sure she'll back in the Top 40 fairly soon as her stock is quite high. Only one more chart before the madness that is Eurovision so who knows what's going to happen!!! Cheers for all your comments.

Top 40 of 2023 (so far...) - WEEK 15
Have to agree on the Taylor Swift song, it is lovely. I heard it for the first time the other day, hence it's entry here. Found it a very agreeable 'floaty' kind of song, that just ambles along. Mimi has been as high as 17 with Red Flags so not a new high, but who knows it could get higher!

Official Charts needs you!
I completed the survey - I too filled out the blank box with a number of suggestions, all designed to keep the charts moving and to allow space for new music to flourish. Would be good to see each week which songs got entries in the 100-200 bracket. Not the whole chart though, as that would be just as stale!!!
